We had a lovely time at Merry Beach Caravan Park. There was a beautiful electric fire (as well as an air conditioner) so we were warm and comfortable, even in the winter weather. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location was beautiful - we enjoyed walking the beach and had a delicious dinner at a local restaurant ‘Merry St’.

I loved the thoughtful approach to amenities. The well equipped camp kitchen has a deck where you can sit and watch the ocean. The location is perfect, right on the most beautiful beach with walks in the national park and 5 minute walk through the bush to hood coffee. Heartily recommend

The site was super clean and right next to the beach. The bathrooms were very clean and assessable. A fire pit at each camp site would be nice tho.

Great welcome - friendly and helpful staff.
Great site/position.
Clean, clean, clean - site, amenities and general area.
Music from the van behind us was a little loud but stopped dead on curfew time.
Good mix of campers - very family orientated - we did not have children or dogs - but there was a great feel and a place for everyone.
Amenities were clean and private - I was worried it would be a lot of queuing but it seemed to run smoothly on a busy weekend.
Beach and sound of the waves was an excellent bonus.
Highly recommend this site.
Bring your food though - shops are a bit of a trek and very basic office stock - milk, long-life and snacks.
Prawn van, donut van and ice cream van came on site - reasonable but not cheap.

Fantastic spot, would definitely come back. We stayed right near the beach and had terrific views. Falling asleep (and waking up to) the sound of the ocean is always nice! Morning walk to watch the sunrise was great too

Nice place to stay. I only stayed overnight but I woke to great view of the beach and a mob of (friendly!) kangaroos hanging around.well equipped with clean toilets and showers. Would stay again

Great location, but significantly overpriced. I visited during the week when it wasn’t too busy, which was a bonus. However, during peak times, the high price doesn’t feel justified for a caravan park. While the facilities were decent, I wouldn’t return solely due to the cost.

Had such a great time here - was perfect for families. Our daughter loved the playground and the pump track, and it was so nice being right on the beach. The cabin was very clean and even though we had one of the cabins further back on the property, we still had a nice water view. Lovely service from staff too. Will book again!

The amenities were dirty and badly designed. You had to line up to use toilets and showers. Camp sites were uneven and half covered in gravel.
We booked for 3 nights but left after the first night.

I booked a powered site, beachfront view. We arrived late on Friday night and were unable to locate the power pole due to rain and weather. We went to bed and decided to work it out in the morning. When we woke up we realised there wasn’t a pole on our site after all. There was a spare power point on the site next door. The management lended us an extra lead and we were able to connect via that. That was very lovely of them. It rained all day Saturday and we were only able to come out for the portion of the day, but we made use of it anyway. We took the dog for a walk, went to the beach anyway and spent the rest of the day playing board games. There were heaps of kangaroos everywhere which our son enjoyed very much. Sunday was marvellous and we were on the beach for a few hours before heading home. We are thinking to return in the new year. Thank you for having us Ingenia Merry Beach!

I loved our stay at Ingenia Holidays Merry Beach. The place is just a complete package. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool, the beach and the playground. Not only that they’ve got to enjoy this. Us adults enjoyed the fresh air and the friendly-safe vibe this place has offered. Children are free to roam around safely and just really enjoyed their time in the facility. Also there is a free wildlife encounter with the roos.. overall it was a blast! Thank you, we had a wonderful stay.
