Poppys Paddock
Great family escape
We had a great time. Very spacious with loads of animals for the kids to visit. Nice central location for visiting wineries and cheese factories. The kids loved seeing the hot air balloons in the distance in the mornings.

Lovely spot, short drive to local wineries and cheese factories also close to the rest of the Hunter Valley.
Kids enjoyed seeing the animals and went on a ride. Hosts were friendly, even while having a very busy weekend.

Poppys Dam paddock
Fabulous stay camping Farm-style!
Poppys Paddock is fabulous!!! The kids had the best time roasting marshmallows by the fire, doing the emu dance (organised by Lenny for all the kids), riding horses, holding baby chicks and patting farm bunnies, feeding the animals, swimming and canoeing in the dam, riding bikes and just being free-range!!
Thank you Lenny and Margaret for a wonderful stay - we will be back.
Note - the toilets/showers are fairly basic, but you are camping and it's better than not having any! :)

Poppys Paddock
One of the best camping grounds!!
Our family/cousins/friends had a wonderful stay at Poppy's. Margaret was lovely, campground was clean (aside from dried horsepoo), no bad smells, hardly any bugs and mossies even though it was hot! Lots of activities at the site (horseriding, farm animal feeding etc). We managed to sneak in few wine tastings too! Our site had a beautiful view of the dam with mountains the background.
Lots of portaloos and two bathrooms with showers which had long cues due to Easter weekend but overall wasn't too bad. We would definitely stay again thank you Margaret and Team.

Best sunrises & sunsets ✨️
Lenny and Margaret are great host! There is an amazing camping area very private up the hill. Where you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Everything was perfect, definitely we recommend this beautiful spot.
