We have a homestead for rent, Glamping Belle tents and also a variety of camping options, Each site is relatively flat and has enough shade in the hottest part of the day. Whether you are in the house or camping, you will have privacy both from your fellow campers with each site being at least 30m apart, separated by trees yet still open enough to enjoy the views of the land and each aspect of the sun throughout the day. We have a screened in camp kitchen for you to enjoy with fridge, tank water and solar power. Each site has a metal fire pit and plenty of space for 2-3 tents or caravan /motorhome with good access during the dry season. The composting toilet and hot shower are close by. We are dog friendly as long as your pet is quiet and well managed. Off-lead can be decided depending on the dog and the interaction with our passive 10 year old Koolie who is very relaxed around other dogs. This site is a little more private on the edge of the forest with some beautiful big mahogany trees to keep you company. Great for a caravan or vehicle but also suitable for a tent in the dry season. This is a lovely open campsite with sunrise and sunset at the top of Higher Ground suitable for larger groups. This site is in our top paddock as the name suggests. Nice and open and flat and It gets all the morning sun and there is plenty of space for multiple vehicles and tents. Its also close to the toilet and not too far away from the camp kitchen or the water hole for swimming.

Tranquil campsites surrounded by trees, with good facilities like hot shower, large camp kitchen. Also well located for access to Yamba, Angourie, Broom’s Head, etc… (around 30 mins drive). The dawn chorus is stunning!

The location for us was perfect. It allowed us each day to explore parts of the Northern rivers without too much driving. The campground was flat & lush when we were there. Lots of bird life, lots of insects. Lots of trees. A pond to take a dip. Drop toilet & a nice hot shower.

The Top Paddock
Lovely campsite in the middle of the rainforest with beautiful nature all around. Great spot for watching all kinds of birds and other small animals. The warm shower in the morning sun was a highlight and you should not miss it!

The camp circle
I tent camped at higher ground in late December 2024. It is a beautiful property and Belle is a really lovely host who took the time to meet the people camping in her property and gave us a lovely tour of the farm with a super helpful explanation of permaculture concepts. I moved from the spot I was allocated to try to avoid tree branches above my tent and Belle was very accomodating. My dog loved the property. The property is set on wetlands so expect mozzies and bugs but of course that is to be expected in high summer. Drive to the property is off the tarmac road.

Amazing spot! We have absolutely loved our time here! Belle is a super friendly and accommodating host, facilities are great (mozzie proof camp kitchen was a lifesaver) and all the spots are well protected and spread out. The mozzies however are out like crazy so bug spray is a must!

Belle Tent - Earth
Belle is the BEST host! We just had 5 days on her beautiful property with a baby and 2 dogs. Belle was so accomodating and friendly, checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and full of local knowledge. We got to visit the permaculture garden with an informative tour and stay in the cozy Belle tent. We went in the height of summer so day trips to the close by beaches were definitely a plus. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights and found it to be quiet and very well stocked. The host was very friendly. The tent was large situated far enough to provide privacy and close enough to the camp kitchen. Although off the beaten track was not too far from nearby towns with plenty to visit.

Exceeding expectations!!
Belle Tent - Earth
We had an incredible experience glamping at Belle's permaculture property with my family. Our girls adored feeding the chickens and sheep, and learning about planting chillies with Belle was both educational and fun. Belle's hospitality truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The camp kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the cleanliness of the showers and toilets added to the overall comfort. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Belle, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so wonderful!

Lovely lady is running this farm, had a beautiful Glamping tent under the stars on her property. My dog was living het best life with all the sticks around, running in the fields, and meeting all the other farm animals! We had a fire in the evening, and showered outdoor, it was just a lovely stay

Beautiful farm. Very quiet and peaceful. Belle was really friendly and checked in on us every day. Our campsite was spacious and close to the farm house where we could fill up our drinking water. The shower was cold but only a temporary problem I think. Toilet, clean and with a view...

We had a very relaxing stay clean and tidy grounds. Great hosts in quiet bush land setting, great area for our dogs to roam

Morning Light
This was a lovely private area to relax and unwind. Our host Belle was so accomodating and lovely. The chickens roam around and are very friendly. The dam is a lovely spot to swim in warm weather. The camp kitchen was nice and clean and had everything we would need when camping. The whole site has a good vibe, anyone we met working there was so nice and friendly.

My partner and 4yo son had a great camping experience on Belle's property. Belle is very friendly, welcoming, quick to reply and overall very accommodating. Lots of space in between campsites and the wonders of nature makes it a very peaceful and pleasant stay. You do hear a slight hum from the M1 but we chose to be closer to the drop toilet at 'Central Camp' as we had a child, so you probably do not hear this from the other end of the campground. However, you only hear this for a brief time just as you have settled into your sleeping bag before you drift into sleep heaven! Belle gives you a tour of her land to show you her passion for the land and what she wants to do to improve both the campgrounds and the land itself. My son loved the idea of the drop toilet, the pit fire and made friends with the many roaming chickens. A quick drive into Yamba and the ever beautiful Angourie. There is a good communal kitchen set up too.

Glamping Belle Tent
I stayed in a Belle tent (glamping) and the tent was beautifully set up - with real mattresses! We arrived at around 4:30pm so it was a bless just to throw our bags in the tent and check out the camp site. There was even a fridge in the camp kitchen!! It would be great if there are two toilets thought - there was only one eco toilet on site.

Lovely Easter stay
Glamping Belle Tent
Lovely area, nice to get away from the side by side camps you see over Easter and enjoy the sounds of the birds and nature. The property is eco friendly and belle was lovely. Look forward to returning. Thank you, belle

Beautiful Serene Campsite

The lower waterhole
My wife, dog and I had a great time here, you feel very secluded driving out to the property which was really nice to relax away from Yamba. The campsite was spacious, with fire pit and table. Belle and her team are very friendly and helpful showing us around her property. The amenities were always clean, with 2 showers. We mostly used the cold only shower due to the heat but they also have a hot shower which we used one night which was great. I look forward to coming back in the future and seeing how the permaculture property has developed.

Great camping spot

Central Camp
Central camp is beautifully located in the county side amongst native trees. It is peaceful , quiet and a relaxing place. There is a dam to swim in. There is an Outdoor Toilet, shower and camp kitchen too. Centrally located which is great as a base to check out surrounding towns and beaches. Plenty of room for caravans, buses, vans or tents. Belle the host is wonderful, friendly and very kind. Central camp is great value for money and I will be definitely coming back.

This was a nice out of the way place where you can experience a taste of offgrid living and sustainability. It was a beautiful setting with access to a comfortable and well set up outdoor kitchen and shower. It is set in an area that is subject to the environment and its insects so be prepared for the inevitable aussie mozzie or two.

A slice of paradise
The lower waterhole
Belle's place is a slice of paradise. It was a great location to explore the surrounding area but an even better spot to come back to to relax, nestle under the trees and cool off in the swimming hole. Belle was a great host with lots of knowledge of the area and an openness to share her passion for permaculture and yoga.

Although we weren't too lucky with the weather (so much rain!) we still had a great experience. We were kindly shown around the permaculture garden and dam by Adrian, we felt very welcomed! Enjoyed a fire in the tipi one evening. Looking forward to coming back in the future! Definitely recommend!

Higher Ground
Belle's property is in the middle of wetlands on a hill, surrounded by beautiful nature. She hosted a retreat the weekend I was there with friends, and when our friends got stuck with their campervan (as it had rained and rained) was so kind to organize help to get them out. Great location :)
