A beautiful and serene 40 acres just 5 kms from the wonderful Bundanoon village, the gateway to the Morton National Park, in the wonderful Southern Highlands NSW. We have a chain of dams to throw a line or catch some yabbies, even float around in the kayaks, or just sit beside and soak up the rays. We have horses, chooks, ducks and peafowl and a beautiful chocolate lab, Cleo. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy there are numerous camp sites, a couple by the oak grove, a couple by the dam and with lovely rural vista. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings. Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property. Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly. Across the creek, is a site by one of our beautiful dams on Hidden Brook. It requires a small watercourse crossing (currently wet so 4WD only). At the dam you can fish, kayak (2 provided), watch the birds, listen to the frogs, sit and soak up the sun. The morning birdsong and evening quiet are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. It's a beautiful spot, there is not much more to say.... Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Autumn campfires are subject to weather conditions and welcome in the designated firepits. Seasoned firewood available for purchase on site or BYO. Campers must be self-contained. This site is in a beautiful part of the property next to an Oak grove of more than 300 trees. Wildlife and birds abound. Private with easy access. Lovely view of one of our dams, listen to the winds in the trees and the frog song in the evening. Go for a stroll, or picnic in the paddock. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. Really clear and easy instructions to access the property. Despite being near the road, it was quiet and felt really secluded. We loved the horses who were really friendly and can't to say hello. Close to the main town and an easy drive to the pub/ cafes.

place was wonderful. There was a large amount of space to set up camp. The grounds were well maintained. Access was straight forward. We would not hesitate to return!

Lovely spot from which to explore; close to Bundanoon. Great communication. Nice and quiet. Cute country view over the dam. We enjoyed it so much, we came back a second night.

🌿 ​A Gorgeous, Peaceful Retreat - Highly Recommended! ✨ We had an absolutely perfect stay at this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly gorgeous getaway. 🏡 ​From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. The host was amazing, providing clear and easy instructions that made our arrival and stay effortless. 🔑 ​The location itself is stunning. It’s beautifully quiet, surrounded by green fields 🌳 and a peaceful dam 💧. It was a joy to explore the grounds. We spotted several rabbits 🐇 and spent time with the lovely horses 🐎 in the morning on the way out. They are incredibly friendly and added a magical, peaceful touch to the whole visit 💜.it

The stay here was lovely and quiet, with beautiful scenery. The horses were super friendly and came right up to greet us at the fence. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little farm with a dam. They provide kayaks to use it the dam and apparently it’s quite deep for a swim ( we didn’t but other camper came down for a swim ) Bit of an incline if you want to camp close to the dam but plenty of flat area not too far away. Theres a couple of friendly horses that cruise around. About 5 min drive from the quaint Bundanoon and heaps of bush walks. Lisa the host is a great communicator. Thanks Lisa for having us at your property.

I almost don’t want to write a good review for this place in case it means it won’t be available next time we want to go there ☺️ gorgeous peaceful spot, rolling hills, and a dam with kayaks and life jackets provided for my kids. Plenty of food to find around the site but the big bags of wood available for $20 were handy. We will definately be back!

Easy access although there is about a km or so of unsealed road leading to property. Nice views of dam and only 20 mins to Moss Vale and 7 mins to nearby town if you need extra supplies. Only negative was site was very close to the road although it was good that hardly any cars pass at night so it still felt rather peaceful and private. Enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed 1 night at hidden brook but wish we had stayed more. Lovely and peaceful. We parked near the dam on the hill, beautiful and scenic and plenty for the kids to look at around the farm. The horses were friendly and we enjoyed walking the property while gathering sticks for a fire.

We really enjoyed our tent camping experience on Lisa's land. We loved the company of their beautiful horses. The grounds were peaceful and was great that we could walk around and explore. Would highly recommend :)

We had a great weekend camping here in our caravan, the property was very open and the view from the top of the hill looking down at the damn was nice! Lots of birds about with beautiful noises, the kids enjoyed watching the horses roam around! The site has a fire pit provided to use! Thanks for having us!

Some sites a little hard to locate - so many gates and not all labelled - but Lisa was great over the phone at helping me find an alternate location to set up when the hill site I’d chosen was too wet for my car to climb. Nice dark skies and quiet. May be back.

Lisa was a great host and was very responsive and helpful! The property was beautiful with a lot of open space and small dams. The horses were friendly and there was plenty of available firewood for us to purchase.

Spent two nights at On the Hill @ Hidden Brook and had a great time. Great location in the Southern Highlands. Stayed in a 16ft Offroad Caravan (site isn't really designed for a van and access was tricky but I asked Lisa before booking and she was more than accommodating for me to give it a try as it was the only site left at short notice). Lisa provided great communication throughout and kindly met us on arrival and gave us some alternative options for camping and gate access given the windy weather and slippery hill. Will definitely stay again next time we go back to the area.

We came down to Hidden Brook the weekend after the great wet in May and it was just too waterlogged (like the rest of NSW). Lisa, the host, who had been fabulous in checking the site for us and in constant communication generously offered to credit our stay, so we are looking forward to going back at a later date.

We really enjoyed our time at your lovely property, having your beautiful Labrador Cleo come and hang out was a really big plus for my young girls ☺️ Exploring the oak grove was a wonderful experience, and we felt comfortable to let our kids wander the site we were on. We will definately be back! ☺️

A top spot for groups. We camped with a large caravan (21ft), camper trailers, rooftop tents and swags, it catered for us all. Our furry friends had a great time too!. Plenty of firewood about, it was so relaxing sitting around the fire together. Lisa was a lovely host and very helpful. An enjoyable getaway without the crowds.
