Halacal Farm is a breathtaking 100-acre property nestled in the pristine rolling foothills of Lambs Valley. Surrounded by rugged escarpments and glacial-formed ridges, the landscape rises dramatically above the valley floor, creating a natural amphitheatre for fog-filled winter sunrises and sunsets so stunning, they'll leave you in awe. This secluded sanctuary is a haven for wildlife, with native birds, wild animals, and vibrant forest fungi adding to the charm of the environment. Whether you're an adventurer or simply seeking serenity, Halacal Farm offers an immersive escape into nature, where every moment is designed to help you unwind and reconnect with the great outdoors. Indulge in the country lifestyle by feeding the animals, fishing for yabbies, exploring bushwalking trails, or simply relaxing by your campfire. Halacal Farm also serves as a phenomenal base camp for exploring the Hunter Valley. Just 25 minutes from the heart of wine country, 30 minutes from Maitland CBD, and 30 minutes from Dungog, it’s perfectly situated for wine tasting, taking a dip in the Allyn River, enjoying lunch in a historic town, or indulging in some boutique shopping. Halacal Farm is kid-friendly, (well-behaved) dog-friendly, and a neighbourhood-friendly venue. Good times are welcomed! Loud, inconsiderate, and loutish guests are not. Most sites are accessible by a high-clearance vehicle, though wet weather will generally require 4WD capability. If you don’t own such a vehicle, we’re happy to assist, but prior notice is required.

Seclusion Gully of Newfoundland

100% (4)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 15 · Vehicles under 30 ft
New Foundland: Seclusion Gully is a hidden retreat nestled in the depths of Halacal Farm’s landscape. This private sanctuary offers complete seclusion for groups of up to 15 adults, (or 2-3 families) where the only sounds you'll hear are the rustling of the trees, the calls of the native wildlife, and the cracklin' of the fire. Tucked away in a peaceful gully, this site does away with the visual temptation of the sunset and rugged horizon for the ultimate privacy, offering a true ‘middle of nowhere’ experience, perfect for those looking to escape the drone of suburban streets for the quiet hum of silence in the Australian bush. Surrounded by native bushland, Seclusion Gully is a haven for wildlife. From kangaroos, echidnas', Goannas and frogs to a vibrant array of birdlife—including kookaburras, cockatoos, king parrots and the apex occupant of Australian skies, the Wedge tailed Eagle—there’s always something to spot in the trees or skies. The forest floor is also alive with colourful fungi and other fascinating natural wonders. Ideal for families and well-behaved pets, this site welcomes children and dogs to join in the adventure. Whether you're gathering around the campfire, exploring bushwalking trails, or simply soaking in the untouched beauty of Lambs Valley, Seclusion Gully is your ultimate destination for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Please note: This site is high clearance vehicle accessible AT BEST. Off Road camper trailers are the only towed vehicle that will get in. This site is NOT suitable for caravans or motorhomes. The site has 2x levelled pads (as levelled as i can get them) and a range of slight to moderate slopes throughout the site. Wear and tear and weather affect the quality and level of the pads overtime, and of course, personal preference play a large role in how much levelling you may require for your particular vehicles or camping platforms.
