Absolutely loved camping by the river, waking up to paradise and kayaking amongst the beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend it to all those who are nature lovers. Thanks Alma !!
Such a great campsite and very well set up! Felt private even though there were many other campers around. Very lovely and peaceful waking up looking over the river
This was such a beautiful place. The weekend was busy but we stayed a few extra days through the week and it was so peaceful. They allowed us to move sites so we were right on the river.
Our camping spot was down on the river. Just a short walk to the nice amenities which were always kept clean. The property had its own jumping pillow, park and mini bmx bike circuit for the kids. There were allocated camping sites which were quite large and plenty of space between sites.
Great little campground, big unpowered spots overlooking the river. Amenities were good, we didnt use the camp kitchen. Campgrounds were quite busy for a random march wknd, and this is not bush camping so if campgrounds arent your thing plenty of others available.
Kids had a blast kayaking and paddle boarding across the river, recommend life vests if they are not strong swimmers. Also the bouncey pillow and the playground were a hit with lots of kids.
Not really a retreat just barking dogs constantly
River access is limited and just gets crowded.
The abundance of fish due to it being tidal not (title) as per the website leaves a lot to wonder as how do flathead etc get up rapids???
it was a little crowded and packed for my liking. river was always muddy from kids jumping in all day. best not to go on a weekend and stairs to bathroom were immense. if tired, older or not mobile not a great place to go for rest
Clear directions to campsite, clean amenties, spacious campsites. My partner and I picked a more secluded campsite that overlooked the river, it was very quiet and felt private. The general organisation is superb, it is definitely
an established caravan park.
We only stayed one night but it was a really peaceful, clean and well serviced campground.
Most sites had a river view and fire pit. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Would definitely like to return for a longer visit next time
Excellent service, stunning location. I nabbed a riverside spot which is well worth it. The amenities are clean and the camp kitchen is basic but has what you need. Will definitely be coming back!
I loved camping by and swimming in the river. It’s a part of NSW I’d not been to before. Campsite is well laid out and owners are pleasant and helpful.
If you're new to camping or a seasoned pro, Grady's is perfect! Whether it's a family trip or a weekend getaway with friends, it's a fantastic option. 👌
Overall it was a good stay, even though the weather was terrible the whole time. The park and sites were clean and every site has their own bins which was great. I think the creek side camping has too many sites leaving it difficult to turn around, removing a couple of sites would provide a more spacious place for everyone. Also has limited access to the water so difficult to enjoy when everyone is accessing from the same small area.
THE FLIES ARE WORSE THAN THE OUTBACK!
Great location, quiet place.
Limited internet- great way to unwind. Internet is available near the office, shh don’t tell the children.
Hot showers, clean toilets.
Great spot for the weekend away.
I will be coming back.
Friendly staff, nothing was a problem when we had to make some changes to a booking due to last minute caravan issues and a health issue.
Clean sites and amenities.
Great spot for swimming, paddle-boarding and just a short trip out to go wake-boarding.
Beautiful location. We prefer a less populated space generally, but being at the opposite end of the boat ramp on an unpowered site tucked into the corner was perfect for us. Consider asking for a quiet site if you are not a fan of being amongst louder groups of people.
