Goodwood Island River Camp is strictly for Self-contained Caravans/Motorhomes/RV's with a toilet. NO facilities at this property. Camping on the North Arm River. Site will be allocated upon arrival. River front sites are weather dependent and cannot be guaranteed based on weather events. Watch Dolphins and other wildlife including Kangaroos and Birds. Fishing, Swimming, Relaxing, hear the ambience of the Pacific Ocean waves in the distance. Kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding (not supplied). Nearby Beaches, Surfing, Pubs, Supermarkets, Golf Course. Dog Friendly (well trained to not chase wildlife). Goodwood Island River Camp has abundant wildlife including Kangaroos, eagles, goannas and SeaLife in the river. It is always advisable to keep a good distance from all of our resident wildlife as they are in their natural environment.

Scott is a top bloke and so accommodating and the site is amazing! Great views, great fishing. Such a great set up there. We will definitely be back. The kids loved Penny … see you next time. Thanks for hosting!

Beautiful quiet spot close to the water. Stunning wildlife and close to Iluka and Yamba for coffee, fuel and shopping. Scott is accommodating, friendly and easy going. We wish him well!

We had a great time at Goodwood Island. Due to the rain we had to camp back from the river but Scott was a great host, giving us plenty of notice and allowing us to pick a spot we wanted. There are so many kangaroos and birds around bit they don’t bother anyone. The sites are grassy and clear, which meant we didn’t have any issues getting the caravan level or power to the solar panels. We’ll be back for sure.

Scott was very helpful as camping on the river wasn't possible due to rain. But camped up back of property great area green grass lots of kangaroos to watch. Loved our stay will definitely go again.

This was our first time camping here and it won’t be our last for sure, what a awesome place to stay, we caught fish and crab 🦀 directly from our camp spot, and the host Scott was very helpful, sold firewood but the truck load for $50 we couldn’t burn it all on our time we stayed for 3 knights, Very peaceful but still close enough to drive to iluka and Yamba but still having that bush camp fire 🔥 camp trip, the dog certainly enjoyed himself too, when it was time to leave he wouldn’t get in the car 🤣, five stars 🌟 for this place.

An lovely spot with a great Host. Scott was so friendly and accommodating. Right by the river and while we had some rain the weather was great. Caught some fish, including a couple of Bream, a small Flathead which went back and a couple of crabs. Would recommend to anyone. Just watch out for the mozzies and midgets especially at night.

We had a great stay, thanks Scott! We felt welcome, directions were clear, site was level, grassy and right on the river, we loved being able to pop the kayak straight in, fishing and crabbing was easy. The supplied fire pits were great to have and we collected firewood on the property. Our little dog had a ball running around, awesome stay overall and we will be back!

The property is awesome. We had a great time. The sites are right on the banks of the river with perfect access for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding etc. The sites are grassy, being quite large and peaceful with the nearest camper being 30+ meters from where we were set up. Scott"s communication and hospitality are excellent. As i only had lures, Scott even went out of his way to bring us some bait on our last night. We had a fantastic time and will definately be back again.

Goodwood Island River Camp was awesome, had a great spot right on the river, lots of distance between camp sites, fishing/crabbing, very peaceful, plenty of wildlife, kangaroos, dolphins playing in the river. Scott was great to deal with. Will definitely be back again one day 😃.

Scott was an amazing host and we were so happy to stay at such an incredible spot. Scott set us up with a site right on the river which meant we could pop the boat in the water and anchor it up right next to camp - ideal. Stunning views of both sunrise and sunset & I would recommend to anyone, we'll be back for sure. If you're after a gorgeous and affordable camping spot that's not packed in with 1,000 other people at a dingy caravan park, you've found your spot. Just make sure you are fully self sustainable as you're living off the land (but still only a 15min drive to the shops if you run out of essentials). We also had our dogs with us and they loved every minute of it! Thank you Scott!

We loved our stay on Scott’s property. Scott was very welcoming and helpful. We had a spot all to ourselves right by the river. There’s plenty of firewood and some beautiful passion fruit trees which Scott said we could help ourselves. Plenty of wildlife with Kangaroos everywhere and eagles flying overhead. Fishing was good, with some flathead and plenty of bream around. We’ll definitely be back.

If I could give 6 ⭐️ I would but definitely 5 ⭐️all round. The location was absolutely perfect right along the river and plenty of distance and privacy from any other campers. The host, Scott - what a legend. Nothing was ever too much trouble and such an easy going guy. Amazing weekend and will definitely be back

A beautiful spot to appreciate nature. A few other campers around but we were all spread out and couldn’t hear anyone. Saw lots of kangaroos and some dolphins even swam by. Scott was a great host. We’d definitely come back!
