Welcome to our spacious riverside camp sites on the banks of the beautiful Moruya river in the South Coast of New South Wales! Glenduart Farm Riverside camps are the perfect location for enjoying the camp, or as a base for exploring the local area. We are located just a short distance from town, where you can find a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. Let us know in your booking if you'd like us to arrange to have purchased firewood on site for when you arrive.

This site is the closest to our campground entry situated along the banks of the mighty Moruya river. It is best suited to smaller setups (tent / swag / rooftop tent / smaller RV's) and is recommended for 1-4 campers. Great for single night stays and little groups. For larger groups, please see our Large Site options. A fire pit is provided with firewood available for purchase @ $30 per wheelbarrow load (or you can BYO) Fresh chicken eggs can be delivered for $10 a dozen. Eco friendly toilets are provided close to site. Be aware of electrified white-tape fences. Beautiful quiet farm stay on the river, had it to ourselves one night and quiet with only one other group the next, large sites so plenty of space in between. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay at a reasonable price.

I recently had an overnight stop while heading down the coast. I was pleasantly surprised with how much space I had on my allocated site, that I had an individual port-a-loo that was perfectly clean and no smell. I was greeted and the host was friendly and helpful offering if I would like to purchase some firewood. I declined due to the drizzly rain on and off, but it would be lovely to use the fire pit that’s supplied at each site. The outlook of the horse paddocks and surrounding hills and river were also lovely. I’ll definitely stay again if heading down that way.

Beautiful flat grassy site alongside the river with firepit. Lots of space between sites and very clean portaloos regularly spaced out so only a short walk. Field of cows & horses behind the site and got to watch some amazing sunsets. Great place to unwind!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room, huge fairly level sites. It was full over the Australia Day long weekend, but still quiet and peaceful. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

What a hidden gem! Being right on the water was incredible, and the site itself was pristine. The toilets were among the cleanest we’ve ever used at a campsite. Debra went above and beyond by providing firewood so we didn't have to pack our own. Between the river views and the friendly horses, we had a lovely time. Highly recommended!

Fabulous place to stay on the river. It's lovely to watch sunset over the property and their horses. I parked my van on a nice site and the portapotty was very clean and user friendly. They have a tiny house which would be great for a girls or romantic getaway and will be back for that. Such a friendly and nice place to stay. Highly recommend. Thank you

We really liked this campsite, the scenery was beautiful despite the rain. Some horses around, a lovely river and lots of trees. The access track is a bit steep and rocky at the bottom (recommend driving on the grass) but our campervan made it safely in and out. The toilets are well equipped and clean and the host is very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Glenduart Farm Rivercamp was a wonderful getaway, nestled between the Moruya River and the South Coast's luscious greenery. The camping plots were adequately sized, with more than enough distance to not hear your neighbours, and toilet amentities were very well maintained. The site felt very peaceful and secluded, I would definitely come back!

The spot is great, far enough from town yet close enough to get the courtesy bus to the pub. We really enjoyed our 7 day stay. The host selll fresh eggs and firewood each day and some good conversation. The portaloos offer that little bit comfort and after.all that there is a friggon big river at your doorstep for a swim or fish. We will definately have another go.

We had a great stay at Glenduart. The site was very nice and easy to camp on, there were other campsites nearby but they didn’t feel too close, the site itself is very large, we comfortably fit eight people camping. The location is great, beautiful beaches nearby and also largeish towns for shopping etc. The owners dropped by once or twice very briefly to offer firewood and check in, and were very friendly. Very impressed with the fairy lights in the toilet. I would stay here again. Thanks for helping us have a great trip!

A clean, well-maintained, and very pleasant place. The owners are welcoming and make you feel at home from the very first moment. The restrooms are spotless and well kept, and there’s plenty of space on the grounds so everyone feels comfortable.

Beautiful, quiet spot on the river and only a short drive into town. We were the only people at the site. Toilet provided was clean and right next to the camp site. Will definitely stay again.

Our group loved our long weekend stay! Lovely grassy sites overlooking the paddocks where the cattle & horses were grazing. Or we could take our chairs and sit and look out over the river. Close to town and The Foxdog Distillery where we headed for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Bonus having clean toilet facilities as well. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a great stay at Glenduart Farm River Camp! The sites are spacious, flat, and grassy and have fabulous views - the river to the east, mountains to the west. There is also a portaloo supplied (one between two sites) which is cleaned daily. The friendly farm animals (cows, horses, a sheep, rooster, and free range chickens), lovely birdlife and fishing in the river provided plenty of entertainment! The camp is close to Moruya for shopping, cafes and markets (but you feel like a million miles away!) and only a 15 minute drive to the beach, so a great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it! Thank you Debra!

We loved our stay over the long weekend! Large grassy sites overlooking the paddocks. So relaxing watching the horses & cattle grazing. Or we took our chairs and overlooked the river in the morning, watching the sun come up. Bonus in having the toilet facilities as well. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps – Rivercamp 1. The whole place is so green and fresh, with a relaxing atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. We found a perfect spot for fishing, spent time soaking in the peaceful sounds of nature, and the kids were over the moon visiting the horses and having so much space to ride their bikes around. It was wonderful to see the whole family so happy outdoors, really enjoying themselves. The location is great too – just minutes from Moruya, but it feels like you’re a world away. A special thank you to Deb for the fresh eggs – such a thoughtful touch! We can’t wait to come back.
