Welcome to Giants Leap Creek Camp, a 150km² property with stunning views of Giants Leap, Halls Creek, and Goulburn River frontage. GUESTS MUST BE FULLY SELF-CONTAINED, and we recommend bringing a 4WD. We are an old dairy farm and still a working property where you can truly escape the everyday. A beautiful creek winds through the land, complete with inviting swimming areas perfect for a refreshing dip. Our cattle roam freely across the property—they’re calm, friendly, and more likely to watch you with mild curiosity than disturb your stay. The creek is alive with wildlife: turtles and fish glide beneath the surface, and the surrounding bushland echoes with the cheerful calls of finches, grass parrots, corellas, and occasionally the elusive lyrebird. It’s a haven for anyone who loves birdwatching, quiet moments by the water, or simply soaking up the sights and sounds of the countryside. Adding a touch of rural charm, a train line runs through the property. You might hear the distant whistle or catch a glimpse of a passing train. Our train drivers are very friendly and love being waved to—a gentle reminder of the world beyond while you relax in nature. Just a short walk away, Giants Leap rises dramatically. Climb to the top for breathtaking views over the entire area—you may even spot the local pub below, which is the perfect incentive for a brisk walk back down! When restrictions allow, guests are welcome to enjoy a campfire under the stars—perfect for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, or simply soaking in the peace of the countryside. Please note that all guests must be fully self-contained, and we do not allow pets, so everyone can enjoy the property safely and comfortably. We love sharing this special piece of land with people who appreciate open skies, wide spaces, and the simple joys of country life. Whether you are here for a peaceful retreat, an adventure, or time with family and friends, our farm offers a genuine slice of rural bliss.

Creekside Old Dairy Campsite

RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 22 m
Creekside Old Dairy Campsite is a flat, grassy site set right on the banks of Halls Creek, offering a peaceful and private escape surrounded by nature. The campsite opens onto a sandy creek bank shaded by established trees—perfect for relaxing by the water, swimming, or casting a line. The surrounding trees are a nesting haven for corellas, and their calls add to the character of the landscape. In the near distance, you may also hear trains passing from time to time—a gentle reminder of the wider world that many guests find surprisingly calming rather than disruptive. Tucked away in a far corner of the paddock, the site enjoys close access to some of the best swimming holes along the creek, making it ideal for those wanting a quiet, nature-filled getaway without sacrificing space or seclusion. You’ll have around one acre to yourselves, with plenty of room to spread out and unwind. While the site feels private, another small group may occasionally be visible about 100 metres upstream. This is a simple, off-grid campsite with no facilities, so guests must be fully self-contained. Access is easy in dry weather, but the track becomes unsuitable for vehicles after rain.
