Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Situated along Kinchela creek part of the Macleay river system. Tidal creek has mud crabs, mullet ,bass, along with other species of fish. About a 10-15 minute drive to hathead and South West Rocks to some of the finest beaches along the east coast and a 10 minute drive to Gladstone for fuel, food, coffees, and a great pub for a beverage or feed. Farm has cattle, a few sheep, horses, And a peacock that drops bye from time to time. You can relax, kick back with a beer or wine fire pit and take in the peace and quiet while you be listening to the waves crash on Smokey beach and on a clear day see the light house at Smokey cape, also see it spinning light of a night.
