Please read all this information: Important please note an adjoining property approximately 1 klm away called Dashville do have a music concert on in April called Gum Ball these dates change each year and also in October this year, before booking please check this site as refund will no longer be given if camping on this property you can see dates on there site www.dashville.com Large campsites in the beautiful Hunter Valley region, with plenty of level, grassed space to park self-contained campers, caravans and motor homes. Pull up beside "the pond" (the dam) on the property, or find yourself a wide-open grassy patch or a shaded corner. Plentiful birdlife, and kangaroos passing through daily! Our local area has a lot to offer including Hunter Valley gardens, beer breweries, wineries, restaurants, clubs, bars, golf course and more. Grocery shops within a 8klms few minutes drive. We're in a very convenient, central location! Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pits when restrictions/bans are not in place. Easy to find, close enough to drive into wineries, and amazing privacy. So quiet, with lots of birdsong to enjoy. We saw plenty of roo’s coming through morning and late arvo, and a few horses from the neighbours paddock said hello.

Great quiet spot for a couple of nights, plenty of room to set up and Janette was very helpful. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves - highly recommend staying here.

Great quiet location on the edge of the vineyards. Host vey helpful with directions and ideas for the area. Camp area clean and tidy with pretty water area and stunning vountryside

Friendly hosts, private but close enough to vineyards. Slight sounds from nearby horse training in the morning but not enough to bother us at all.

Enjoyed our one night stopover with a spacious level site. Short drive to local shops and had a great late afternoon at Hunter Wine Lab.

Janette was welcoming upon our arrival and provided us an opportunity to select our location of preference. The location was perfect for our visit to the Hunter Valley region with picturesque farm life views. My girls loved visiting the race horses next door and it was a really enjoyable stay. Definitely recommend for those visiting the Hunter Valley region.

Beautiful, well maintained site just minutes away from the wineries. All campsites are at a decent distance from each other so you have your own nice little world without bothering anyone or anyone bothering you. Plenty of trees so we could set up hammocks and the long leash for our dog so he could roam around☺️ The host is also very nice and ensured another camp put their dogs on leash when we noted both were off leash at the site. Would definitely stay again, no complaints.

Beautiful land to camp and relax, amazing grassy shaded spots and lovely bird life and nature. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway with campfire and right on the vineyards doorstep!

Great place to camp. Nice and open with plenty of shady pitches as well as good facilities. Close to the wineries and shops if you need/want to get off site. Would stay again.

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it! The scenery was beautiful, with plenty of wildlife around, we even saw kangaroos and there's a lovely little pond. The host was so welcoming and friendly. One of the highlights for us was having our own private firepit at no extra cost, plus the option to buy thick firewood or collect your own sticks from around the site, such a nice touch! We visited during the school holidays, and there was another family camping quite close. For us, this wasn’t an issue, if anything, it made the experience even better as the kids had a blast together. However, for others looking for a more secluded stay, it’s worth mentioning. Outside of school holidays, I imagine it would be very peaceful and private. The only downside for us was the portaloo setup. While the listing mentioned portaloos, these ones were fully open at the bottom with no flap, which meant you could see everything and the smell was quite strong. It didn’t feel very hygienic compared to the flush-style portaloos with a flap that help protect from seeing and smell, the kind I’m familiar with from my work in the construction industry. It’s something worth noting for future campers and perhaps something the host might consider improving. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with amazing scenery, friendly hosts, and a great setup for a relaxed stay.

Perfect spot to unwind for a few nights. This is our 3rd time staying at this great property, with so many positives to offer. + Easy and convenient to get to from Sydney + Dog friendly, the dogs love it here + The little pond made for great pictures + Spotless toilets + Plenty of privacy and space + Jan the host is so incredibly lovely + Quiet and peaceful We will absolutely be back. ♥️

Awesome place, great for privacy and relaxing escape yet a short drive and close to amenities. Excellent host, will be back again! Flat sunny spot was great for our caravan.

Beautiful location with a perfect camp fire spot right by the lake (complete with benches and picnic table!). Janette was very accommodating and helped start our fire for us. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back again soon!

Such a great spot! We had the place all to ourselves, and despite the rain, we had a lovely time! The kangaroos are everywhere and good fun to watch. We were close enough to vineyards and the main Hunter Valley precinct, so very glad we stayed here and at such a great price! Thank you!

Janette was a wonderful host who really looked after us to ensure our stay was comfortable. The property was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed camping near the pretty dam, listening to the frogs and watching the stars. Was nice to watch the kangaroos and ducks moving around too. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at the property. We took our motorhome and relaxed by the pond. Hosts were wonderful, great communication and greeting at the gate. Thanks again, we would go back.
