Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest in your tent/vehicle, then hop out of bed and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the cabin with access to a kitchen area supplying rainwater. With the secluded bush surroundings and the quiet, it's hard to believe you're only an hour away from Sydney. You might even see a Koala There is strictly no accomodation in the Cabin. The camp features a camping toilet and bathing facilities, gas bbq, a kitchen washing area, NO FRIDGE, a recreation space and dining table when the weather is bad. All you need to do is roll out your swag. Campers are encouraged to take their rubbish with them. There is access to power for campervans/caravans. Warm your toes at the outdoor fireplace whilst you chat with friends. (Please bring own firewood). You will be a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Dharawal National Park which has wonderful swimming holes and bush walks. The site is 15 minutes drive from Campbelltown, which offers all amenities of a large metropolitan city.Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. Camping with families and dogs

Our first time camping with the kids and we had a great time. The cabin with drinking water and toilet/shower was very convenient and very useful for storing things. Outdoor pizza oven was a big success. Was great to find a camp site so close to Sydney where we could also take our dogs. A short drive to the national park where we enjoyed hiking with the kids to the Minerva Pool.

Such a quiet place, the cabin was handy and had games, a ping pong table, electricity, a shower, toilet, fire pit, outdoor wood stove and hot water. Plenty of space for two tents, a swag and a 3x3m gazebo, 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The owner even come down to say hello and then left us alone for the rest of our trip. Was close enough to major shops but far enough away that you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere.

We had the best long weekend here. Our group of 10 friends plus a Labrador puppy enjoyed the super well setup campsite with a well organised campfire area and extra smooth and flat camping area. The hut with power, running (hot) water, clean compost toilet, a gas bbq, pizza oven, ping pong table and cooking basics made life super comfortable and easy and David was lovely too. This is probably our favourite campsite ever.

We were a group of 5 friends with a dog and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dharawal Camp. The cabin is great shelter from the rain but is cold, bringing indoor sandals is recommended. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of bowls, plates, cups, and mugs. There are some cooking utensils but no pots or pans. There was no fridge but there were 2 decent sized eskies available. Plenty of space for cooking, storage, and hanging out. There is hot water on all taps and the drop toilet is set up well.

Great little getaway for short or long. We did a weekend away and absolutely had a blast. Being so close had almost 3 full days. Having the house to prep food, table tennis and bathroom amenities makes cleaning the kids easy. Nice bush walks, small river to see and plenty of birds around. Pizza Oven was on key for us. Recommend and will be back.

We had such a great time at this place. We couldn't believe we were only 15 minutes from Campbelltown, it was so peaceful and secluded. The humpy was really convenient, especially for a place to wash up and play games with the kids. Will absolutely be coming back.

Fantastic night winter camping with a group of teen girls at Dharawal camp site. Fun campfire in the middle of bushland but close to Sydney. Cabin was handy and the ping pong table was a hit. Great walks nearby and David was a friendly host. Will come again.

Beautiful and private camping spot. Beautiful bushland, a little creek for the kids to explore and lots of birdlife. Added convenience of the cabin with running water and bathrooms makes staying at David's land a real pleasure.

Lovely stay in the bush. The cabin/shelter is very well set up and gives some unique perspectives of the surrounding bushland. Ourselves and our dogs enjoyed our stay here.

We loved our stay at David’s camp, it’s a beautiful peaceful area, well set up and cared for. David is a great host, very helpful and friendly. Apart from a quick intro on arrival and a visit to bring by more balls for the ping pong table, we barely knew he was there. We were also graced with a visit from the local kelpie who played with the kids (and us!) and kept us company. Having the cabin next to the campsite is so helpful. All the fun of camping but a hot shower, toilet, gas bbq, and food prep/ cleanup space makes it more like a private amenities building next door to our tent. For anything else we need, Campbelltown is 15 minutes away. Would 100% recommend a visit. We will definitely be back. Thanks to David for allowing access to his beautiful little slice of the world

We loved our 4 nights in Dharawal Camp! Great, level site with marked fire pit. Facilities are excellent. Hot water showers were a bonus, as were the dishwashing facilities. Very quiet despite still being pretty close to town. Polly the kelpie will inevitably appear at mealtimes - she's very friendly, though. David is an excellent host, and we particularly loved the art class with him. We'd love to come back to Dharawal.

We had a lovely time at David's camp site. It's great to have the cottage there with a drop toilet and a hot rain water shower. Also loved the table tennis! The kitchen is basic but lots of room for your stuff. When we were there, there was no fridge. The highlights of the camp was the local kelpy who visited us all the time, the kids were in heaven. Also appreciated the privacy and how it feels like you're in the bush but still close to the city.

Amazing stay! Loved the campsite, very private and has a lot of equipment to make things a little easier. Perfect for a weekend out of the city without too much hassle/planning when packing. Polly the dog was also lovely company, super friendly and the sweeter temperament. David is a great host, would definitely recommend a stay here!

Such a beautiful quiet spot that was perfect for the rainy weekend thanks to the lovely cabin there. Our dog loved playing with the neighbours dog Polly. Highly recommend!

Our second stay at Dharawal. Such a great camp spot for the kids and so close to Sydney. Very much glamping!! And jingga Poole is a hidden gem so close to Sydney!! Will be back. Thanks Dave!!

Had a great weekend at Dharawal. Saw some Kookaburras and Possum's right near camp. The cabin was a nice luxury with power and a great drop toilet so close to camp. Would definitely recommend. There was some noise coming from nearby roads but it was few and far between.

We had such a wonderful relaxing time at David's place amongst the trees and surrounded by nature. It was exactly what we needed to unwind. David was such a lovely host - he came to greet us, provided us with a bottle opener as we forgot ours and otherwise just left us to it. We will definitely be returning.

The camping site provided beautiful two nights with my family. It is a cozy, private place, more than large enough for a 10 ppl tent and a large gazebo. The cabin is right beside the camping site, which is really convenient. David, the host, is friendly and very welcoming. He let us know how to get to Minerva pool in the national park. We had a pleasant walk and visit to the pool. Definitely recommend to visit :)

I almost don't want to leave a review so I can gate keep this place! Perfect balance of convenience (close to Sydney and shops if you forget something), yet you feel completely isolated. Lots of birds, stars bright through the canopy, and near Jingga Pool which is one of the most beautiful places I've ever swum! The cabin had everything you need and would mean we'd happily book in winter as you have somewhere to hang even if it rains. David came to say hi but otherwise left us alone, and we loved being greeted by his dogs each afternoon. Thanks David, will be back!

Nice host, and great location inside a small forest area, with access to a camp house incl. Compost toilet, rain water shower with hot water, power connection but no water on tap for refill (but drinking water was offered in canister). However, the access via bush track is tricky and requires the host to help you if you have a large Campervan. So ok if you like to be remote and have an off-road compatible car or driving skill, otherwise better choose another one.
