We are located near Coonabarabran, not far from Siding Springs Observatory in the Warrumbungles National Park. Welcome to our fully off-grid luxury retreat. Living our Aussie dream of escaping the city and building an off-grid oasis, we have made Coonabarabran and the Warrumbungle region our home since 2017 and completely fallen in love with the surrounds and freedom of lifestyle we have created for ourselves. So much so, that we have made it our mission to support the community and share the beauty of what we have created with others. Inspired by the magnificent region we have put careful thought into every detail, to create a truly unique experience that complements the native landscape. With our genuine passion for luxurious sustainable accommodation, you can indulge in a unique getaway catered to your individual needs and preferences. We are passionate about creating a unique experience that combines the best of modern and luxe amenities with sustainable craftsmanship and design. With the thoughtful addition of solar panels, considered design throughout the resort and a commitment to sourcing materials from local suppliers, your hosts have embedded discreet sustainable elements throughout the entire property, to offer you a modern eco-conscious stay whilst maintaining a truly luxurious experience. Located at the door steps to the Warrumbungle Mountains in Coonabarabran, New South Wales just 6 hours from Sydney, this resort offers you the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life whilst indulging in a truly unforgettable experience. Your accommodation is a luxurious yurt-style lodge nestled in the woodlands of our 80 acre property that is truly off the grid. The private lodge boasts all the creature comforts you need including three comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living area, a well-appointed kitchen and a separate dining room. Your Riparide stay is a self catered experience. As part of your stay you can separately book at additional costs a private emu safari and/or a skywatching experience from our onsite observatory. There is an outdoor spa overlooking the farm and the Emus! Dark Sky Eco Resort is a private retreat-style stay and experience which is unique in Australia.
