Beautiful camping spot. We stayed at site 1. So peaceful and rejuvenating for the soul. The cows at kangaroos in the neighbouring paddock were a wonderful addition.

Most beautiful place! We stayed for just a night but absolutely loved it. Toilet was well looked after and very clean. Definitely recommend making a stop to Ellismayne!

Site 3 - Ellismayne Bush Camping
Great communication from the host and easy to find. Large, open space site with cute(?) well presented drop toilet. Sites 1,2 (near toilet) with fire pits, in one quarter next to each other - 3,4 and 5 in the other (cut) grassy corners and site 6 on its own by a small dam. We stayed after visiting Dubbo zoo and had a great night under the shooting stars. Recommend.

Stayed over the Easter break. Nice flat camping with a cute toilet and campfire set ups. Our doggos had the best time and the night sky was amazing! Host was lovely and welcoming.

What a great Private spot just off the highway but far enough that there was no traffic noise or visibility at all!! Very convenient stopover or great location to explore the area more. The sunset and starry skies were amazing!!!

Such a great set up. A great bush vibe! Very clean drop toilet, picnic table, fire pits, serenity and space. Sal was a super welcoming and lovely host who was a brilliant communicator and provided excellent directions. Star gazing was amazing. We had the camp to ourselves! So lucky. Doggos had a fabulous time too. Thank you so much Sal. Hope to stay again ☺️

Brilliant stop over near Dunedoo - had the whole place to ourselves and it was so peaceful. Basic toilet but adds to the charm ( a loo with a view!). Overall highly recommended - thanks Sal!

The remoteness of the site was amazing. It’s very far from the main road and house. Although we didn’t meet the owners, they were responsive and took care to ensure the toilet was in tip top condition and that we had ample of firewood for the night. The huge stones surrounding the fire pit was an extra bonus. But what really made the night was the stars and Milky Way. We even saw a massive shooting star! It was amazing and our dog loved staying here too.. Can highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Sally’s farm. The setting was just beautiful- quiet, picturesque & safe for our fur babies. The site had a toilet & tables & benches plus a rustic fire pit which was great to sit around after a day on the road. It was obvious that Sally makes an effort for her guests & I would highly recommend this to couples, friends & family. The moon rising over the campfire was a stunning experience.

Great location with amazing scenery. Wonderful spot that made you feel like you were right in the bush but close enough to town if you need to grab some bits and pieces. Hosts were wonderful and had some great tips on what to do in the region.

Great spot! Very peaceful, hassle free, camp toilet clean with solar light, bush table and stools great by the fire pit. Would definitely recommend staying. Will be back if passing through again!

Beautiful place to stay! Had fire pits ready to use and a great drop toilet. Got to hear all the birds and see some kangaroos. Will definitely stay again. Hosts were lovely and I loved their dogs too! Thanks heaps

We had a fantastic stay, site 6 was a little away from the other sites which carried the benefit of a bit of space to ourselves, whilst also not too far a walk to the toilet and top of the hill. We had a lot of fun at camp and exploring the area.

Lovely stay between Dubbo and Dunedoo. Sally kindly offered a converted shearing shed for me to sleep in for my stay which was beautiful with great facilities. Great directions and communication from Sally prior to arriving :)

Such a beautiful spot to bush camp. The kids loved seeing all the different animals around and just being out in nature and exploring. Sally was kind enough to leave us some eggs at our campsite and checked on us when it was really windy. Great host would definitely recommend.

WoW !... where do you start ?.
Great camping here !. Large paddock with lots of space for the camper trailer. 2 fireplaces to choose from and loads of firewood provided. The drop toilet is a well equipped gem with lights, magazines, aromatic native bush, hand soap and a pet spider !. Nearby is a 1,000 litre watertank for handwashing all nestled in a small grove of mature trees. Views to the west are breath-taking with gorgeous sunsets and a walk to the dam is great exercise and you may even spot a yabbie.
The resident cows in their own paddock were very friendly.
We visited Dubbo and also Dunedoo where we bumped into Sal at the markets held in the community hall.
The large paddock is purposely limited to 5 sites so you are not crowded in.

A beautiful peaceful farm camp perfect for the end of our roadtrip. Sally was very helpful and caring- giving us clear directions, setting up the firepit ready to go and leaving us fresh eggs. The toilet was well stocked and clean, and the wide clear night skies were an obvious bonus. We will be back!
