Just got back from an amazing camping trip at Clyde River campground and I couldn't be more impressed! The campsite was beautifully maintained, with lush green grounds and plenty of space for our tent. The facilities were clean and well-kept, we loved exploring the nearby trails and fishing in the crystal-clear lake. It was the perfect getaway for a quote getaway and nature lovers!

This camp spot was exactly as advertised. Very easy to get to, grounds and amenities maintained well. We took a boat down with us and the ramp was good. Very quiet. Would recommend.

Exactly as described, hot shower available, a kettle, running water and toilet provided. Beautiful views and a lovely spot next to the river, firewood provided to make your own camp fire and you even got to see Kangaroos in the early morning!

Fabulous location and hosts! Had a great, last minute, one-night stay at Ross and Lisa's place. It's everything it says on the page and more. Definitely heading back!

The site was terrific, every camp had a spot next to the river, we were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves which was perfect for us! The spaces between sites was large enough that if others campers were there it would not really matter. It was a beautiful, peaceful glade and I would definitely book again!

Beautiful place to camp. I liked that it had a clean flush toilet and a warm shower. Pet friendly our dog had a fun time. Close to Batemans bay if you want to go out during the day.

Second time staying here, great halfway point on the return journey home. Surrounded by eucalyptus next to the river, Ross and Lisa's property is immaculate and the amenities make for an easy camp. Will be back again one day!

Stunning spot, situated on the river not far from Batemans Bay. Very easy camp, with shower, toilet, and a camp kitchen. Makes for a nice simple camp experience. Easy flat ground next to the river to setup a tent, firepits, wildlife, love this spot.

A tranquil riverside campsite with potable water and beautiful setting. Hosts greeted on arrival and pointed me in the right direction for a fabulous couple of days reading a book and enjoying some digital detox.

Awesome get away spot. Literally right on the river. A bunch of sites with a nice toilet and a shower. The hosts were LOVELY! Would very much recommend.

My friend and I stayed here over the weekend and we loved the spot! Already planning another time to visit again.
The sites are spaced out really well, the land is well maintained and easy to get to, flat ground so very suitable for swags/tents and beautiful scenery.
Their facilities are also great! We highly recommend and we can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful lush landscape set upon the majestic Clyde River. Got there fine in our mid sized SUV with easy to follow directions. Sites are marked by traditional stone surrounded, ground firepits. The rustic camp kitchen offers a lovely covered outdoor area with a hint to perhaps a water ski history, where you can sit, have a cuppa and meet fellow campers. There's a cute wooden bar facing the river (maybe an old ski judging/commenters booth?) where you can stand around, drink in hand and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. The toilet provided is such a welcome and appreciated provision and is kept immaculate. We stayed on a Sunday and practically had the place to ourselves, except for a lovely couple who were great to chat with. We met one of our friendly hosts, Ross briefly on a little wander around the property. Gorgeous landscape right on the river, private and well maintained. What more could you possibly ask for? The area can be cold at night, please keep this in mind if you have small pets. Our little pup's first camp and despite sporting her adorable hoodie, having her crate full of blankets and the ambient glow and warmth of a roaring fire, she was more than happy to snuggle up in the car. Thanks Ross & Lisa for the perfect little getaway!

We love camping at Ross and Lisa’s. Being on the river with access to a boat ramp is fantastic. Lisa and Ross are very welcoming hosts. The facilities are great.

Amazing place. Deep into the forest next to the beautiful Clyde river. The main challenge is it can get busy and when it does, unless you have your own restroom and shower, you may stay in line and you won’t have the space HipCamp is known for.

What a great spot. Nice and relaxing right on the river and not too crowded. Pet friendly which was a plus for us.
Book well ahead for that long weekend as you may not get a spot.
