This was a lovely stay!
It was a little confusing at first where to set up... But after (2) quick calls to Sharon we found a wonderful spot... Sharon couldn't have been any more helpful and even told us where to find water if we needed it... Also giving us the opportunity to use the toilet even tho this is a full self contained site...
A perfect proximity to Griffith and all the things to see and do... The price was extremely reasonable and we would definitely recommend this hipcamp

Sharon and Jo are such lovely and welcoming hosts! We absolutely loved staying at their beautiful farm, very safe and secure. They took us around their orchard telling us about their history. We hand picked oranges, zucchini and zucchini flowers from their farm. Also the jams and orange blossom honey they sell were super tempting so we ended up getting those too 😍

Best Hipcamp we’ve stayed at yet. Joe and Sharon are great hosts, we were greeted by Joe who kindly showed us the options for camping, then proceeded to show us around the farm - very interesting history and great little shop. We had a tasting of all their goodies in the shop, so good that we ended up buying some bits for the rest of our camping trip. Hopefully we will get the chance to stop by again!

We stayed 3 nights at Catania Fruit Farm with our Staffy, Indi. We were given a few choices of where to set up. Hosts Joe and Sharon were an absolute pleasure to meet with loads of local knowledge. We did the Farm Tour which we highly recommend. Gave us a real insight into just how much is involved, and we learnt so much. We enjoyed lovely fresh samples along the way. We purchased some Jams, honey and mustard to share with family and friends.
Sharon and Joe were most welcoming and hospitable, it’s an absolute credit to them what they have created. We felt safe and very comfortable. Such a peaceful setting in a beautiful location. Not far from Griffith. And beautiful Darlington Point. Do yourself a favour book and enjoy the authentic experience, and make sure you do the tour!
Thanks Sharon for the tasty Zucchini’s we sliced and grilled like you said and they were delicious.

Sharon and Joe were amazing hosts! Joe was there to show us a gorgeous place to set up, facing the vines with the resident turkey and chickens pecking around. We loved the farm tour that Joe took us on and their jams and honey are delicious! It was quite at night and just secluded paradise. Thank you for having us.

Joe & Sharon .. truely lovely people, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, accommodating our needs with our three dogs on very short notice.
We were given a number of choices for where to park our truck & van so set up near the prune trees, giving us a buffer from afternoon sun. Joe brought us fruits to try and we bought some of his preservative free red wine .. wish I’d bought a dozen!
The farm is so well maintained and the farm tours informative & interesting. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute.

How good is it when you roll in your welcomed like family.
We got the farm tour and our son is addicted to motorbikes so Joe took us around on the Kobota.
We got the royal treatment tasted some of the best oranges that oozzeeeeeedddddd with juice and even got some amazing pine nuts.
We stocked up on some fresh home made jams
Thanks for letting us stay we will be back one day I'm sure.

We just spent 3 nights at Catania in our caravan and had a most delightful time. We had a choice of several spots in and around the old farm house and sheds and were surrounded by orange trees and vineyards. Sharon and Joe were the real deal, having lived and worked on the farm for decades. They were great hosts and full of knowledge about the whole area and its history. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys some fun and authenticity. Located about a fifteen minute drive to the Griffith CBD.

Recently stayed for 1 night at catania farm, Joe was wonderful and showed us around his farm discussing all the fruit and nut trees he has and then back to the onsite shop for home made jams etc.

Very hospitable couple who grow some interesting fruits and nuts and have a great little shop with their produce. You can choose from a few different spots to camp according to your needs. Joe & Sharon couldn’t have been more helpful and easy going

Sharon and Joe excellent hosts. Signage on surrounding roads directs you to their farm. Quite and peaceful on level gravel area, look out over the grapevines.Easy 7 minute drive to town,thank you highly recommend

A huge thanks to Sharon and Joe! We made a last minute booking to stay at Catania Farm, arriving late afternoon. We were metres from the picturesque vineyard.
Joe was so hospitable, taking time out to show the various trees, vines and fruits produced on the farm. He also opened up the farm shop where I sampled and eventually bought olive oil, mustard and jam.
Perfect place to stop and take in the rural scenes.

Joe and Sharon were so welcoming and kind. We arrived on a very rainy evening and they let us camp on the driveway to avoid being flooded as well as provided access to flushing toilets and a hot shower which was such a blessing given the weather. We were welcomed with some of the farm’s beautiful peaches and in the morning Joe gave us a farm tour, a tasting, showed us around the farm shop and screened a video on the history of the farm. We stocked up on jams, wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar (best balsamic vinegar we’ve ever tried!) and were sent off with a bag of incredibly juicy oranges. Cannot express enough how above and beyond the hospitality provided by Joe and Sharon was. Thanks for an incredible stay!

We met Joe at the original site and he gave us a tour of the old house and told us the history of the home. He then took us to a homestead down the road to setup camp as there was only 2 of us and we arrived as we after alot of rain and things we’re a bit muddy. It was very quiet with a beautiful view.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping at Catania Farm. The surroundings were beautiful, the sky at night amazing. A highlight was the Catania farm tour with Joe. We were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.
