We stayed at site 3 and had a stunning view! The location was so peaceful and spacious, it’s a great place if you’re looking at wanting to get off the grid for some time. Debbie was super helpful and communicates well.
I would definitely recommend, there is also an orchard about a 2 mins drive to spend the day fruit picking and animals to see :)

Debbie wasn’t kidding when she said the site has excellent mountain views and stunning sunsets!
As always, we had a peaceful stay and felt truly connected with nature. While the strong winds posed a bit of a challenge during our visit, we still thoroughly enjoyed our time at the campgrounds. Debbie was wonderful, she checked in on us and was very accommodating with our requests, which we truly appreciated.
We also noticed that the policy around keeping dogs on a leash is now more strictly enforced. While it took some adjusting, we completely understand, as it helps keep the grounds clean (especially since one of our pups has a habit of rolling in poop!). Despite that, our dogs still had a great time exploring the campgrounds during our walks.
Overall, another lovely and refreshing experience!

Had a peaceful weekend at Canoelands Valley Camping. The site was quiet, spacious, and had great views. Easy 2WD access to Site 1, and the lookout was a nice bonus. Clean facilities and a good spot for a campfire under the stars. Would definitely come back.

Debbie is an exceptional host. I arrived to find a personalised welcome pack which was very helpful. As my stay coincided with heavy rain Debbie offered additional shelter which, whilst declined, goes to demonstrate her commitment to support her guests. The views across the valley are breathtaking and for this reason alone I’d highly recommend this simple site. The facilities are basic but well stocked and maintained to a very high standard. Only site 1 has nice view and some space. Site 2 is very small, site 3 and site 4 is uneven and flat area is very small. The site is around by grass 1 m tall.

Debbie’s spot is beautiful, well-kept and quiet. Perfect Hipcamp for us and our daughter for a peaceful weekend camp. Definitely need a 4wd for campsites 3 and 4 - especially when raining. Would recommend!

Debbie was delightful and provided instructions on the fence where to set up. A variety of spots with different outlooks and most well spaced out, several with stunning views. One of my favourite spots under 90 minutes from Sydney.

Very clean and picturesque spot. We stayed in site 1, which had a great view of the valley below. We had access to a very clean portaloo with hand basin, half-barrel fire pit, saw and axe.

If you're the type of person who likes to enjoy themself, then skip this "campground." While the natural beauty of the surrounds is pleasant and enjoyable, the way the sites are laid out detracts from the experience. We expected to be relatively secluded from our fellow campers, but this was not the case - we were in a direct line of sight with our neighbours and had to set up camp right next to the road through the property. Not only that, but the main house of the property has a clear view of the camp areas - if privacy is important to you, look elsewhere. My family was minding or own business when the host, Debbey, aproached us about a noise complaint. Mind you, we did arrive late and our 3 year-old son had fallen asleep on the trip in, but then woke up, so we were up a bit late, but were not PARTYING by any stretch of the imagination. As stated, we were keeping to ourselves (kids were lying in bed chatting, my wife was resting on the bed and I was enjoying the quiet and the fire) when Deby rocked up. After being scolded, I went in the tent and shared my frustration with my wife (again, a private conversation) only to have Debi return and continue berating us about being too loud. She then told us to pack up and leave in the morning. We booked this site with high hopes, but were utterly disappointed. We are quiet and respectful people, but we didn't expect to have to whisper and walk on egg shells. Don't waste your time. Make note when Debo warns against crying babies.

I loved how quiet and big our space is.
No toilet but the portaloo was accessible.
Our host, Debbie, was accommodating and responds pretty quickly.
It is also dog friendly and pur dog (even on keash) enjoyed his stay as well.

Stayed for 1 night on our way up the coast. Stayed on site 4 with our off-road 21.6ft van. Debbie was very accomodating. Beautiful well maintained property and sites. We were able to level van up easily, grassy site and very quiet. Would recommend!

Nice spot with an epic view. I was at site 1 and liked having close access to portaloo and basin was very handy. I hope to come back in better weather as there looks like there’s some nice walks on the property to have.

Lovely spot surrounded by bush land close to Sydney. Spacious sites with excellent views from sites 1 and 2, which are relatively close together. Short walk to portaloo and plenty of firewood for roasting marshmallows at night.

We stayed on site 4. Private, flat site. You will need a 4wd to get up to the top 2 sites, but once up there you’re all sweet. A nice stay.
