Convenient location, clean and great facilities. The nearby Valla Tavern has great meals!
Pete was welcoming and the property is well maintained.
As others have said if noise bothers you, bring ear plugs, I did and I wasn’t awoken.

Neat is a pin with lots of Creek frontage and a friendly host this site is super convenient,literally 5 minutes off the highway and very close to a big service centre for petrol.
But it’s proximity to the highway is also it’s downfall – bring your earplugs.

Great location, easy to find with really nice ammenities good spot for a paddle or kayak. Pete was kind enough to offer to lend me a kayak so I could enjoy the river. Train was a little noisy but if you camp away from that track it’s not too bad

Lovely relaxing spot next to a tranquil river. The highway runs right next to the site so a bit noisy, but you get used to it. Clean single shower and toilet

Great spot. Easy to get into. Awesome firepit with timber supplied. Quick hello from Peter then we got on with our setting up. Felt safe. Clean amenity. Didn't use camp kitchen. Thanks Peter

Great hosts, nice spot and awesome if you like to fish. Location is quite good in relation to Valla beach (<10 mins drive) and Nambucca beach <20mins).
Only downside is the train line which while not a lot of traffic, when they come through does disrupt camp or sleeping at the different times they come through.

Pete was more than welcoming and brought us firewood throughout the 3 nights we were there.
Nice bit of land right by the water.
Landed a nice Estuary Cod and plenty of crabs.
Thanks Pete! The lads had a great time.

Very conveniently located spot for visiting local towns and nature. We did trips to Scott’s Head, Bongil Bongil national park and Nambucca for sunset.
Very clean shower and toilet was a huge bonus. Kitchen also great. Would definitely recommend the rear site on the property over the first.
To note, the train comes through the day and night and is very loud. The road is also loud. Pack your ear plugs!

Nice place to stay, not too far from the main road, and directions made it very easy to access.

We had an excellent time in Petes land, very quiet and relaxing place. We only had an opinion about the toilet as we were 8 people and there was another couple overthere, one toilet and one shower is not enough and it could be better if it was separated from the shower, it was very clean though.

There were only 2 camp sites so it felt like nobody else around. Campsite facing a little river, great for fishing. The host offered and let us use the kayaks at no cost. Firewood at no cost. A cargo train rails are at the back of the property and you can see the train a couple of times a day, it can be annoying for some people I found it super cool specially at night. Little playground for children. Great toilet and hot shower. Less than 30 minutes from the beach.

A must try Hipcamp
Pete was super welcoming and friendly
The site is highly family friendly. We only stayed for one night but would have done a week easily. Great fishing,crabbing and kayaking spot right at your feet.
Camp kitchen and amenities were good too. Train goes past every few hours but was never an issue.
Had a little slide and tree house for my 2 year old to play in as well. Highly rate Pete’s property

We stayed the one night here, it was a beautiful location with great resources. Right on the river which was beautiful, camp kitchen and bathroom facilities were fantastic. Short drive from Nambucca Heads and Valla Beach. Pete was lovely to talk to, very friendly and helpful with local information. Would highly recommend.

We love staying on Pete's land- so much more relaxed than the usual busy caravan parks. Just us and the river and the chooks! The kids find fun ways to entertain themselves on the property, and it's a short drive to Valla, Urunga and Nambucca Heads. We did a day trip up to Bellingen as well, less than half an hour drive. We will be back for sure!

The facilities and swimming were great. It was nice to have a flushing toilet, a shower, and a water on tap. Unfortunately, the site was quite close to the train line and it affected my sleep quite a bit.
