Simple easy camping, large mowed area on the river. Close to Gloucester if you need supplies, pub or cafes. Paul is an excellent host.

Fantastic place to camp for a week. 2nd time and not the last.
Lovely on the river and close to town if you need anything. Paul is a great host always checking if all is ok and full of knowledge of the area.

The great thing about this camp is that there are only two sites to choose from.
Very relaxing next to the river and watching stars, satellites and shooting stars.
Paul is a terrific host and leaves you to enjoy your stay.

Beautiful spot by the fast flowing Barrington River, greeted by Paul on the road and shown the 2 options. After a brief chat about the local area we were left to enjoy the huge variety of Birdlife and the refreshing (cold) river for a dip. Will return!

Really enjoyed our short stay here. Paul was a great host, friendly and welcoming. Directions were easy to follow. Peaceful stay by the river. Loved that you are spread out from other campers and you can enjoy your own space.

We spent two nights here and wished we could stay for longer.
Eliza and Paul are great hosts, very welcoming and share their local knowledge. Eliza greeted us and gave us the option of camps. We were lucky enough to have the camp to ourselves, however even if all three camps were booked, there is still plenty of room between us. Paul checked in on the second afternoon to say hello and make sure we were good. Lovely people.
We've camped at quite a lot of hipcamps, but this one quickly became our fav. Amazing views any way you looked. Running water along the Barrington River, both the dogs and us enjoyed frequent refreshing dips. Afternoon shade to enjoy a quiet drink along the riverbank.
Barrington has a fuel station for ice just 3 minutes from camp, Gloucester had Woolworths and BWS just a 12 min drive away. Reception was minimal, but you could get it at different spots and full reception was just a 4 minute drive away.
We can't wait to come back, thank you Paul and Eliza for sharing your piece of paradise.

We had a great stay at Paul's property in Barrington on the river. Such an amazing location! The paddock was green and level, the river was flowing clear and you could swim in the cool water at waist-deep.
This property is just out of Gloucester if you need to go into town and sits at the foothills of the famous Barrington Tops wilderness area. We spent our days tripping around the area feeling confident our van was safe and secure at this location.
If you want a quiet, peaceful location with wide open space and a clean river, then this is your spot.

This place was amazing..
Paul was so accomodating he showed us down to the camp ground and suggested the perfect spot which over looked the river and the rapids.
It's the perfect place for a relaxing off grid weekend.

This is great little spot with easy access to river from the first spot you come across. The remaining two spots are also awesome with differing access points. The far spot overlooking the rapids has limited access to the river but would be a perfect spot for that mid winter get away.
The hosts were amazing and we loved the time we spent with them chatting.
As this is a working farm you need to aware that there will activity from time to time, but overall it was great escape.

Paul and Eliza's property is amazing.
Just on the Barrington River with plenty of wildlife and bird life around. The river is clean and flowing and great to sit in and relax.
Eliza and Paul are lovely. So friendly and just come and check in if all is going ok. Very easy to communicate with. We'll definitely be back.

Awesome host and an amazing spot. Paul was very welcoming meeting us on the main road and then guided us onto the property then onto the vast camping area. Ample of space right on the edge of the Barrington River. Nearest campers were about 250m away. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

This stay suited us perfectly. We stayed with our dog and had the area all to ourselves. Access was easy with plenty of room to park the van. It was hot during our stay but the shade from the willows and frequent dips in the river made up for the heat. Our dog loved it, plenty of grass to lay around in and of course swim in the river. Hoats were lively and left us to enjoy the area.

We were honoured to be the first guests on this property, and it did not disappoint.
Paul and Eliza were absolutely wonderful hosts, and welcomed us to enjoy the most relaxing weekend on their beautiful farm.
The Barrington River was clean and we enjoyed swimming and going for afternoon walks with our dogs along their spacious river front.
No insects to menace us, just fresh clean air. Paul and Eliza had kindly slashed a huge area for us to chose where to set up our caravan, and assisted us in and out of the property.
We immensely enjoyed seeing and learning about their cattle, and greatly appreciated their hospitality.
This, by far, has been our best Hipcamp experience.
Looking forward to returning soon!
