Very cool site to relax with beautiful views of the lake. Clean amenities and friendly staff. 5 minutes drive to the shopping mall. I’ll stay there again if I travel to the area.

Plenty of facilities, well out of the way of almost everything with a beautiful green cathedral just down the road and the sunset was the most spectacular I’ve seen.

We visited Camp Elim in with a large group of 10 adults and 10 children and had an amazing experience! We were given two sites right next to each other with a beautiful view of the lake.
The location itself is stunning, and the facilities are genuinely five-star. The toilets, showers, and bathrooms were spotless — honestly the cleanest public amenities I’ve ever seen at a campsite.
James at the reception was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to accommodate our group’s needs of a secluded and private spot. There’s plenty to do here — a basketball court, fun activities for the kids, and a well-equipped communal kitchen.
I also really appreciate that it’s a non-smoking and alcohol-free campsite. As a Muslim family, this made us feel very comfortable and safe — no rowdy behaviour or loud parties, just a peaceful, family-friendly environment.
I noticed some negative reviews mentioning the no-alcohol policy, but for us, that was one of the best parts about this place. We’ll definitely be back again!

Peaceful location, well priced and friendly hosts. Smoke free, pet free and alcohol free site. Lovely spot close to the Lake , surrounded by native vegetation and wide range of bird life.

Good place with many amenities and with possible to hire kayaks and canoes, near to the sea, a few fire places, but not many to all the campgrounds, all the process was clear and quick

Great location and the hosts were super nice, however, the camp sites were way too close to one another and if I could tell this from the map when booking I wouldn’t have selected this site.

We loved Camp Elim. Well located between the lake and ocean, Spotless well equipped amenities and helpful staff. Perfect for pitching our hiking tent on flat ground with grass. Spectacular sunset views across the lake while we ate dinner at the handy picnic table at the lake’s edge.

Great location tucked away from the road, short walking distance to the beach and right on the lake. Facilities like showers, fridge, sinks etc were super useful.

Lovely holiday park. Facilities were clean - toilets, showers and kitchenette -. Location is lovely too, between the ocean and the lake. Would come back 100% but maybe not on peak season as it was a little crowded during Christmas with many babies crying overnight - not the camping’s fault.

Great showers etc and location. I think it should be a lot clearer that’s it a religious campsite with a ban on alcohol and smoking

It was a great location, close to the beach and lake. Just wish I knew it was essentially glamping. Very family friendly which is cool if you like that, but me personally I like getting drunk and having no access to hot running water when I go camping.

nice little camp ground and great location. A little bit church vibes, perfect for those who praise the lord, I stayed for a night on my way to Sydney and it served a purpose.
