While our campsites are private and expansive, visitors should come fully self-sufficient, as there are no on-site toilets or showers. To enhance your experience, firewood is available for purchase, allowing you to create the perfect campfire ambiance under a star-filled sky. Conveniently located, the farm is just a short drive from the charming towns of Nimbin and Murwillumbah (30 minutes), the quaint village of Uki (15 minutes), and the scenic Clarrie Hall Dam (10 minutes), where you can enjoy swimming, sailing, and fishing. For those traveling from farther away, Coolangatta International Airport and the vibrant town of Byron Bay are approximately an hour’s drive, making this serene escape both accessible and unforgettable. Farm Camping with Border Collies

Platypus Place
Great open, private space with plenty of room to camp with our offroad caravan. Our two Border Collies loved this spot and went on lots of walks around the property after the host left a hand written map for us. The dogs had lots of swims in the clear flowing water even though it is very cold at this time of the year. Friendly greeting from our host, Jon , He and his wife made sure we were settled in on arrival.

Had the best weekend away. Lovely private campsite right by a crystal clear steam with a little swimming hole. Watched the moon rise and gazed at the stars by the fire. Loved exploring the property with our dog and baby. Jon was a great host, can’t recommend this property enough!
