Perfect bush retreat

This camp is perfect for people who want a quiet bush experience. It is the perfect place to stay if you don’t want to be crowded in on a caravan park. We wanted to ride the nearby rail trail and it was a great location for that. The bird life and the bush setting was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and made you feel at home! Highly recommended to anyone who values a peaceful getaway!

Orchard

The whole experience was beautiful. Very gorgeous property. I had the place all to myself and felt very safe (good for solo travellers) beautiful sounds of birds and very lush scenery. Kate was very lovely and welcoming. Beautiful creekside space to go for walks and massive space to choose for camping in orchard area. I would definitely go back if I’m around the area.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in the bamboo camp site for 4 days. We had the place to ourselves & enjoyed the space & peace very much. We were also able to have a camp fire & enjoy star gazing. The location was great for quick & easy access to the rail trail, checking out the beaches & great cafes. Kate & Dave were lovely & responded quickly to any enquiries. We would definitely come back & stay again.

We had a lovely time camped next to a very impressive stand of bamboo on Kate and Dave's land. It was private, quiet and tranquil. Conveniently located to the Rail Trail and multiple interesting and picturesque villages. Kate and Dave are friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hip camp.

Hidden behind the bamboo

We loved our stay at Burringbar Camping. Hidden behind a row of bamboo, this HipCamp was still open & grassy which made it ideal for a quiet getaway. The location was close to the the Northern Rivers Rail Trail & numerous coffee shops so had plenty of things to do. Thanks for a great stay.

Tucked in between the trees you barely notice the road or driveway. The occasional car doesnt even register. 😊 Kate and her husband came down to say hi on their way out and they are warm, friendly and welcoming. My Dog and I had plenty of space and felt safe and relaxed. Will definitely be keeping this site on our visit again list! 🥰

Loved our stay with Kate in Burringbar. She was very accomodating. Location is great and loved being right by the creek and the afternoon camp fires. Great spot to do the rail trail for a day outing and also great for exploring the local area. Would definitely recommend the stay.

Tranquil and well organised. Enjoyed every moment with our little group and our two dogs. The space allocated for camping in Orchard 2 is quite level and private. The area outside the property was divine for a walk, little creeks and really lovely interactions with neighbours and drivers passing by. Note to campers for warmer weather, once the flies locate you, they tell their friends. Good food netting or fly traps and mozzie coils recommended. This is just warm weather vibes and has no reflection on the particular experience we had at the property. Thanks Kate for the stay.

Bamboo Site 2

Such a lovely quiet spot. Would definately visit again. Kate was an amazing host. We made a booking elsewhere for the Easter long weekend, we got there and drove straight out again. We were on the verge of heading home, we called a few places to see if there was any availability, sadly no luck on such short notice. We called kate and she helped us out so much. The grounds were very well maintained and so easy to find The communication from Kate was awesome, she made it extremely easy. Thanks Kate for a lovely Easter weekend Highly reccommend

This is a great location for exploring the area. However, we came here to just rest and unwind. It's peaceful and beautiful. Kate had a brazier and firewood all set up for us. Just perfect. We camped on the creek site and couldn't fault it. Some slope but wasn't a concern for our set up. Highly recommend this Hipcamp. Thank you
