This 6-acre property is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Burringbar Village. There are 4 campsites available, 3 are located in the creek paddock and 1 in the Orchard. The sites are located near a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;) The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away. The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast. In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club . And only 4 kilometres away in the nearby village of Mooball, there is the famous Moo moo Roadhouse for meals, coffee and fuel, and the also historic Victory Hotel for further food and drink options. Base yourself on this lovely property and explore the beautiful Northern Rivers Region and all it has to offer. This is a quiet and peaceful camp ground and is suited to people wishing to enjoy the serenity of nature. It is not suitable for large groups or those wishing to party on. (Pets are welcome on the property, however they must be kept on leads and or fenced in to protect the wildlife)

Located in front of a row of clumping bamboo (screening a quiet country road) ... this site is fairly level and faces a sloping paddock. Recommended to bring levellers if you like it real level:. Lots of bird/animal life. Great for a caravan or motorhome. There is a fireplace available on your site.

Pleasant & mostly level site near creek. Plenty of room to set yourselves up comfortably & private. Shaded by trees if you prefer to stay cool or position yourself to enjoy more sunshine. There is a firepit on site for you to use:) if you require your site to be dead level, bring levellers;)

Away from most traffic noise. Made for quiet relaxing nights. Would have been great to see the stars. Unfortunately the showers didnt allow that. Maybe next time

A quiet and peaceful location surrounded by nature. I was the only one there for 4 nights which was great. My 2 dogs loved the creek and Kate. Kate was so friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us.

Nice quiet spot near the rail trail, perfect for those wanting a weekend of bike riding. Booked both bamboo sites so we had that whole side to ourselves.

It is just the loveliest place to sit back, relax, read a book, listen to the birds or go for a drive to check out the nearby townships of Burringbar and Mooball. Very peaceful, private and secluded. Lovely hosts. We will visit again.

Enjoyed staying at Kate's land its a beautiful place. Kate was wonderful for directions and her husband provided us with wood for a fire. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for all your assistance.

Lovely peaceful spot and yet still close to Murwillumbah and Gold Coast. Nice and flat with beautiful leafy setting. Host gave good info and kindly provided firewood. Really quiet. Public toilet short 5 min drive away in Burringbar if you are not in self contained vehicle. Highly recommend

The place was beautiful and easy to find. Super close to the rail trail , which was the reason of my visit. The little creak , the canes , the maintained lawns , it all helped to make of my stay something to remember. Kate is an awesome host , she received me with a smile and some firewood!!!

An enjoyable 3 nights at The Haven, a rolling green campsite we had to ourselves. Kate was there to greet us and provided firewood and a fire pot. Although next to a road, it had only the occasional vehicle and was usually very quiet. Birdlife aplenty and fireflies at night by the creek! Great access to the rail trail which was the main reason we chose the area. Would definitely stay again. 👍

Great and private campsite, saw plenty of firefly’s overnight, fire wood pre organised by host and clear directions with fast response time. Well priced and would recommend for a private overnight campsite.

Kate was very prompt in her communications, which we really appreciated. We came in late and only needed somewhere to stay for the night. It was an easy place to land, as the instructions to the site were clear and Kate set up some fairy lights for us, which made it even more easeful for us to find (thank you). We stayed at the orchard site and it was perfect for us. This site is next to the road though. It is a quiet road, but not an isolated spot if that is what you are looking for.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, maintained site. David greeted us at the gate and kindly suggested the best spot to park our two vans. The grassy site was freshly mowed and surrounded by trees with the bamboo offering a lovely sense of privacy from the road. Our hosts generously provided a fire pit and firewood and we throughly enjoyed cooking damper and sitting by the fire under the stars. It was the perfect spot to try out off- grid camping in our van while also exploring the charming local areas and enjoying lunch at the Victory Hotel! We plan to return - next time with our bikes so we can ride the nearby rail trail. Highly recommended!

Lovely hosts. We arrived late and found a firepit and firewood waiting for us. Bamboo campsite is a little close to the road but is lovely and flat, private and close to town.

The hosts were very friendly & the site was clean & quite. The area was well grassed & cut. Dog friendly. The camp is about 2.5k from the centre of town, but is an easy ride. Hopefully return to ride more of the rail trail soon.

Fantastic campsite by the creek, it felt really relaxing to be surrounded by all the trees. David and Kate went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay on their property. It was a wet weekend but still had fun, would highly recommend and will be booking again :)

This was a very peaceful spot with lots of trees and bamboo along the edges to keep it private. Plenty of space for 2/3 vans and perfect if you’re planning a trip with others. There is a slight slope but nothing terrible. We had a great meal at the Victoria Hotel in Mooball.

Such a beautiful lady and so accommodating. The campsite was great to stop at for the night under the beautiful orchid trees. We saw so much wildlife over the night we adored it, highly recommend!

Had a great time camping for 2 nights. Booked Bamboo 2 site, but wasn't right for us as we have a rooftop tent & Kate quickly made a plan for us to set up elsewhere, which was great. Nice and quiet, there were 2 other camp sites in use, and plenty space for our dog to play ball.

We had a lovely stay at Kate's Orchard site. It was very shady, and we had the place to ourselves. It's only a short bike ride to join the Rail Trail in Burringbah. There's an excellent cafe nearby as well as good shops in town.

We had a excellent 4 night stay! Peaceful country setting and we appreciated the firepit and wood on arrival 😁 very private and spacious between the two sites, fabulous we had the camp to ourselves 👌 love the area, perfect for doing the northern rivers rail trail & club Burringbar is great for dining out. Friendly hosts and town. We enjoyed a 20 minute drive for beach days too! Would definitely stay again, thank you for letting us stay on your private land, caravan parks are a thing of the past 😜
