Welcome to Boat Harbour, a charming 37-acre hobby farm nestled along the picturesque Rous River. Named for its historical significance, this idyllic property once served as a vital harbour for the transportation of cedar logs and cream tins downstream to Tweed Heads. Today, Boat Harbour is a tranquil haven, lovingly tended and embraced by a thriving community of 14 contented horses. They graze peacefully in the abundant, verdant pastures that grace the river's edge, embodying the serene spirit of this beautiful slice of countryside.

      Lovely secluded spot with great views of the creek. I like that it was private. Our van has an outdoor shower so was able to shower outside under the stars! So nice to have a raised fire pit with some wood supplied by Mick and Rachel too. Would recommend to others!

      Camping on the Rous River
      What a great bit of land to camp on. Rachel and her partner came out late and in the rain to help us find the entrance and guide our 22ft caravan in. Plenty of space, inc level tarmac and level grass areas. The river runs around the whole spot and would be great for swimming had we got there early enough and the rain stopped. No facilities. Finn our 9 year old said “those guys were very cute” 😅
