The camping area is on a grassy headland, overlooking the ocean, available for self-contained campers (with their own toilet). The area has access to Coila Lake by 4WD and a five-minute walk to access the beaches. Bingi also has a significant Aboriginal history and is surrounded by Yuin peoples rich aboriginal culture and stories, sites and dreaming walking tracks. Campfires are permitted when there are no restrictions in place. Pets are welcome to join you but must remain under your control at all times. A private culture talk can be arranged (fee for service) with the local custodians of the area. Bingi is also known for it's beautiful flora and fauna, and great fishing, prawning, diving and watersports. Bingi Campsite is a 10 - 15 minute drive from the town of Moruya, and 10 minutes drive from Tuross Heads. The camping area is on a grassy headland, overlooking the ocean, available for self-contained campers (with their own toilet). If you like being in a remote area where all you can hear is the sound of waves crashing on the beach then this is the perfect place.

Probably wouldn’t come again
The area was a bit dirty from previous campers with toilet paper on the trees.. however the sites were nicely sized. Couldn’t get in contact with the owner as stated in the booking instructions other campers were also confused. The beach was not that close as shown in the photos it’s also a non recommended swimming beach this would’ve been nice to know. The price is a bit high for unpowered campsite I feel

Private but no ocean views
A great spot for us when nothing else on the coast was available. Quiet, out of the way and plenty of room. Lots of kangaroos about. The Sloping site might be a problem for some. Tried to contact the site host as direct on arrival but no response, as others have said

What a little hidden secret this place is. So central to so many beautiful quiet beaches. Wouldn’t recommend for tents as not many flat spots, so many spots to tuck away with tree coverage. As everyone above says, couldn’t contact owner.

Lovely site. Close to beach but 10-15 min walk. Warning for dog owners: paralysis ticks everywhere (went in December/January). Dogs definitely need to have tick treatment!
