Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Established on the banks of the beautiful Colo River by the Polish scouts over 70 years ago, Bielany has been a native campground ever since. It is maintained by the Polish Foundation in NSW and managed by Cassandra and Rick. We have flushing toilets and unisex hot showers. Bielany is a native campground so u will not find dump points etc or 5 star luxury but u will have a million star view Feel free to visit us anytime.

We had a really good time there. Great atmosphere, peaceful campsite and even better with the river nearby that we did have so much fun swimming and paddle boarding. We’ll definitely come back :)

Will definitely be back!
Wow what a beautiful camp site and even better customer service. We were welcomed warmly by the owners who showed us to our camp site. It was a packed Australia Day weekend and the atmosphere was electric. The river was packed with swimmers and the water was crystal clear. The ammenities were clean and the rate per night was very affordable. Will definitely be back! Thanks guys

I fell in love
Awesome spot, people were friendly, and the hosts were were lovely. Amenities were regularly checked and cleaned. . Note it is a more true camping experience and due to it being a flood zone amenities are old but they work and they are clean. I know people complain about these things but for me they were fine. The river itself is stunning and a joy to be in. The kayaking is great for beginners. I did the short run to the bridge and back. The spot is very kid friendly as the water is clear, and the tide drops out to ankle deep. The tide change is not that strong even though there is a big depth difference. Fishing is there as well and one kayaker told me they had caught a Bass the day before. We loved it there and will be back again. A great getaway and we loved watching the stars by the fire. Beilany ticked a lot of boxes for us, good size sites tick, kayaking tick, allowas fires tick, allows pets tick, friendly tick, beautiful water access tick, quiet bushland tick, wildlife tick, starry night so brilliant tick, fishing tick, family fun and togetherness tick. Tick tick tick. Absolutely loved this place.

Overall it was good experience but allocated space for camp was less due. Toilet and shower facilities are worse and I would think again to use them. No proper hand wash taps. Site is beside river so it makes it worthy.
