LOCATION: The campsite is located underneath towering gum trees and is near a small creek. There is a range of native bird life to listen to and relax. At night you might see owls, wallabies or possums. The location is walking distance to the town of Bellingen for supplies. Our house / the car space for campers is located 1km from the Bellingen IGA supermarket (approximately 14 minutes walk). ACCESS: Please note we classify this as a walk-in campsite as there is a steep dirt road leading from our house down through a pocket of rain forest to the site. Some 4WDs can access the site if the weather is dry but this is mostly a walk-in campsite (any rain at all and you can't get back up the hill - we found out the hard way). The walk from the car parking space to the camp site is approximately 500m. FACILITIES: Just nature! We will provide a shovel for you to dig a toilet hole. The site does have a fire pit you may use subject to any local fire bans at the time of your stay. OTHER: We live on the property with our family, so we ask that guests keep noise to a minimum when walking past the house, or if accessing their car at night or early morning. Great secluded spot amongst the eucalyptus. The host was very accommodating and helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible.
