Cracking location and great host

Anchorage Farm Narooma
Our first night was a bit hairy as the January storms peels through Narooma! But fortunately, the pub in Narooma is spot on and 5 mins down the road. When we woke, we were surprised to find the paddock drained incredibly well and we had no issues with mud or ensuring our caravan was stable.
Fortunately the rain eased up the next day and after a trip into see the seals and Bodalla (a must go to town), we settled into Anchorage early afternoon, we had the paddock to ourselves, lit a fire, watch wallabies and wombats float freely around Mark’s paddock, then capped it off with some great star gazing.
Mark was an incredible host, saving us from disaster and lending his generator after our awning was unable to retract after a flat caravan battery (rookie error by me)!
Would recommend for a cheap, peaceful paddock, and remarkably close to sleepy Narooma which is a great town.

I loved staying at Anchorage Farm Narooma. We were tent camping and there was plenty of space and trees for shade. It was uncrowded, quiet and peaceful and we felt like we were miles away from civilisation. You can choose your own site. Great location! Only 5 minutes to the beach and shops if needed. Mark was helpful and easily contactable.

Mark is a good bloke. He made the stay easy. Awsome place to stay. Short drive into town, so good going back to camp after a busy day in town to relax.

Location is a good base to attractions and the beaches in the area. Very limited communication from the host prior to arrival and we had to go looking for the host when we arrived/checked in. No service on the property during peak periods. Property is very hilly with limited flat ground. Host never came to introduce himself during the three days we were there either. Overall, okay but not fantastic.

Mark’s property at Anchorage Farm is simply stunning, and as returning HipCampers I can’t recommend booking here highly enough. It’s so close to town for anything you need, yet the only sounds you’ll hear are the chorus of bird song and the kangaroos bouncing past.

Great spot close to Narooma but feels like it is remote with rolling paddock views and forest behind. Mark is a great guy communicates well. Need to be self contained as no facilities but that’s par for the course. Was a great vase for our Narooma visit for a few days. Will definitely be back again.

Anchorage Farm Narooma
I nice spot five minutes from Narooma on a dead end road. As described, it is a mown paddock but with various reasonably level spots for caravan, camper, tent etc. Next to the paddock is a beautiful hillside of native forest with a few tracks to wander. It's well populated with bellbirds and whipbirds so there's a delightful soundtrack to sit and listen to. One on the list to return to.

Great place to stay. Choice of clear or shaded sites in a beautiful paddock setting. Easy access for our 8m (fiat) motorhome. Lovely and quiet with wallabies and wombat. Just what we needed after 5 months on the road, battling caravan parks and free camps. Thank you Mark!
