Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

All tents, caravans and motor homes for the space are the same fee. You will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together.     Aloomba Lavender Farm is always such a lovely place to stay. The property is beautifully maintained — very clean, neat and orderly, with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The staff are genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming, with that wonderful old Aussie charm that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. You can really feel the personal touch of a family-owned and family-managed property. There is a warmth and care here that you simply don’t get at large, commercial accommodation facilities. I have always enjoyed my time at Aloomba Lavender Farm, and it is the kind of place where you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, excellent presentation and genuine hospitality makes it a place I am always happy to return to. I will definitely stay here again as soon as I get the opportunity. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept place with genuine country hospitality and a wonderful human touch.
