We had a lovely night stay at this property during our journey from Brisbane to Dubbo. This property is in a very convenient spot, not far from Tamworth. We enjoyed saying hello to the horses (and so did our kelpie). Jeff was very welcoming and we had no worries with our pup on this property. Thank you for having us!

Lovely bit of paddock with beautiful views, power and water if needed. Quiet and dogs were able to move around. Horses quite close so kept my dogs near. Google sent me further down the road, use address rather than park name.

A great space for the kids and dog to run around. We had the paddock to ourselves and some good times by the camp fire. Tamworth only a short drive away.

Love this spot – only 10 minutes out of town. Had the place to ourselves, grassy pastures and horses over the fence. Didn’t get to try the pub but apparently it has great pizzas. Thoroughly recommend.

Great spot for a weekend away at the Tamworth country music festival. Short car or bus trip into town and a nice quiet green space to return to at the end of a busy day. Friendly host.

We had a wonderful stay at Adela Park! Geoff was a wonderful host and very accommodating. We stayed here during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the property is close enough to town for our daily adventures but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. There were a number of other guests but the property is well spaced that we didn’t even hear them. Thank you Geoff for opening up your property to us 😊

What a gem !great place to stay lovely shade under peppercorn trees with power and plenty of water on site to fill your van .Geoff and his collie betty are very friendly and will help you out .highly recommend Adela park we spent 7 nights here .was a great place to base ourselves for the Tamworth country music festival.

We camped for 5 nights at Geoff’s under the beautiful Peppercorn tree which gave us fantastic shade, during the music festival. Geoff was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.

It was a good open flat piece of ground in someone’s property and served our purpose for an overnight stay. But there was nothing remarkable about the stay or venue if we are being honest. If stopping overnight in Tamworth with a view to simply pass through then it works.
The area was heavily bindi-eyes so need to have things at least, no shade apart from late afternoon across the whole property.
Geoff and the dog were a nice host, no fault there.
It is a little pricey but we were last minute Xmas eve so no real complaints. Had we been better prepared/planned we would have likely found somewhere else.

Although the location was nice for what is there it is overpriced in my opinion. Owners dog was left to wander around the camp while our dog had to be tied up. There dog was leaving droppings around our van and never cleaned up, this added to the fly problem. Can’t walk on the grass without thongs Bindies everywhere. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

A fantastic place to stay. Geoff is a wonderful and down to earth host who is happy to have a chat, or leave you be if that’s more your style. The outlook over the mountains is scenic and amazing to wake up to out the van window.
Very accommodating and the provision of power and water if needed is convenient. Sites are relatively level and when it rains the lush grass does a good job at keeping the mud at bay.
Betty the resident Border Collie is playful and great won’t the kids, her hyperactive antics keep us entertained. Would not hesitate in recommending Adela Park in lieu of being crammed in at a bland caravan park.

Best place we have every stayed! Amazing view, shade, power, water and horses in the paddock on a beautiful lawn with big shady trees so close to town and our fav pub- The Nemingha!!! Thank you, we will definately be back !
