The cozy off-grid cabin (solar powered) & A-Frame Huts (unpowered) nestled on Nunguu Mountain, offers a space to unwind and slow down. The rainforest views are captivating and can keep you peacefully entertained watching the bird life fly by for hours. The cabin offers a 2 x bedroom living quarters, that can sleep up to 6 people in total, as well as the main kitchen, living room area and outdoor undercover dining space. The outdoor shower is surrounded by heliconia plants, a forest lovers dream. The A frames are suited for 2 x single or a couple- short walk up the mountain, with a shared outside bathroom "loo with a view" and rock shelf shower. A 10 minute drive from Valla Beach, 30 minutes to Bellingen and Coffs Harbour a beautiful place to stay and go out for day missions. Although completely seperate and private, this beautiful Cabin and Aframes, share the property with the ‘Main House’ living quarters about 150 meters away.

Site one is situated on top of the north west of the mountain. A home among the gumtrees, The Aframes are easily accessible to walk to and from with the cars parked down at the bottom of hill 3 minutes away. There is a communal bathroom composting toilet and an hot outdoor shower situated in between the two A frames. Guests will enjoy the A frame to themselves, but please note there may be another group/s visible in the other Aframe, Cabin or main house. There are no hookups at this site, but filtered drinking water is available at the bathroom area. The A frames are not powered.

We have a buggy service to drop up and take down bags (within an eta). There is a communal bathroom composting toilet and an hot outdoor shower situated in between the two A frames. Guests will enjoy the A frame to themselves, but please note there may be another group/s visible in the other Aframe, Cabin or main house. There are no hookups at this site, but filtered drinking water is available at the bathroom area. The A frames are unpowered sites.

Overall, we had a great experience, it was very beautiful location, the hosts were lovely and very accomodating, the A frame is exactly like the photos listed. Unfortunately the bathroom and shower did not have a door which was also shared with other guests, we didn’t mind however should be in description as well as no power, the hosts did tell us prior however please put it in listing for other guests so they know before booking. Overall we had a great time though!!
