Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
150 acres of largely forested area, dominated by large ironbark trees, perfect for ol' fashioned bush camping and bird watching, in peace, and tranquility. The property is just 20 kilometers from Dubbo on Mendooran Road. Camp up to 700 metres from the main residence with the opportunity to walk some tracks on the property, and possibly hear guest speakers such as the Outback Historian whilst cooking a camp oven or two (ask us about this!) All campers must be self-contained, as we don't offer facilities. Please bring everything you need with you. Pets are welcome also.Pitch your tent in the peaceful tranquility of forest areas. You are welcome to choose your own spot, based on the owner's guidance. Take some time to walk the tracks on the property, listen to the wildlife, and enjoy nature. Perhaps tell the owners about things you find in areas of the property that are as yet unexplored by the owners. Finish the day with a camp oven and listen to some stories told by the outback historian from Dubbo. All campers must be completely self-sufficient.
