An isolated, two-acre property surrounded by bush backing onto a small lake which hosts abundant and varied bird life. From the eastern side of the property, it is less than a 30-second walk to Back Beach - a nearly private beach to the south of Woolgoolga Headland. Back Beach is a great beach for fishing, board riding and windsurfing or just to relax and look at the ocean for hours. From the property, it is less than 15 minutes walk south to Hearns Lake. Most times Hearns Lake is like a giant bathtub and the water is normally warmer than the nearby ocean. Property suits adults only (there are too many dangers for kids). No pets preferred - quiet small animals considered on enquiry in advance. NO toilet available - provide your own toilet paper, please.

    We booked 2 nights lakefront camping , we saw no lake that we could access anywhere near where we were told to camp , which was next to the house. Not the tidiest place either but may suit some. Definitely not for us. Drove in drove out. RESPONSE FROM HOST: No, Mr Jackson, you did not book for the Lakeside. You were placed in the non-power site you booked. If you had the intestinal fortitude to tell us you believed something was wrong, we would have placed you at the lakeside site as a courtesy since that

    Col and his family are awesome. They set up our power and supported us in our set up. The locals are really friendly. We camped In a great part of the property and the beach is as close as stated.

    Very nice people, Location was good, very close to beach. Campsite had rubbish around and rubbish in the bushes was the only negative thing.

    We stayed at 2 Waters from 2-5 January. We were looking for a quiet experience off-grid. 2 Waters offered an easy walk to the beach. The house and other campers were quite close though. Col was very hospitable.

    close to the beach... if you can find the path. As rolled in a bit of a shock to pass a sewage plant that runs into surrounding dam and beach areas. Was an interesting stay. The beach is close! Owner friendly and helpful. Not received as advertised. Beach, surroundings awesome. Had good times!

    The sites are quite large and you space around you. Col is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of rubbish around, our view on the left is a pit with piles for a winter burn, car bodies on bricks and our front view large hole side of house with insulation out of it.

    The campsite is in the backyard of some quite derelict houses The area was littered with broken down cars and other rubbish. The beach was quite close but access was difficult. Would not recommend. HOST COMMENT: Col says the guests arrived four hours early before a car-rebuild project could be stored away. "That is the same as arriving at a motel 4 hours before you're suppose to and then complaining about how untidy the room is." Col also said the walk to the beach IS easy.

    Amazing location, the property is protected by the wind and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was spectacular. It would have been nice to see more accurate pictures of the camp sites as they are literally in the backyard of the house's, Friendly and helpful residents, recommend to anyone.

    Perfect mix of bush and beach. Beautiful relaxing spot on the lake, easy walk to secluded beach. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Lots to do and see in the area or enjoy the quietness of this idealic space. Will definitely be back.

    Very helpful host, beautiful spot, tho access to freshwater lagoon is close to impossible, great beach. If SatNav takes you to the top of hill - backtrack and use the supplied directions. Clothing optional: yes, but subject to negotiation according to guests' preferences.
