This charming land has been in the family since my husband was a young boy. The Indian ruins and artifacts fascinated him then and he is still happy to share this history with whoever shows an interest. With all the improvements made by his father and family through the years, you will also learn to have a love for the history and beauty here on this unique 30-acre treasure.  You can explore Native American ruins that were inhabited by some 2,000 people between 700-1100 AD. The grounds are wonderful to walk with a little lake which draws elk, deer, hawks, blue herons, etc. Easy to access just 3 minutes off I-25. We are 5 minutes away from the Pecos Natl Monument and 15 minutes away from the Pecos River with plenty of great fishing spots…Visit Santa Fe (20-minute drive) or Las Vegas (30-minute drive) with dozens of restaurants, museums, art galleries, etc. We look forward to your stay!

Serene Property Good Amenities
This was a wonderful camp! Beautiful sweeping views of the Santa Fe national forest, nice amenities, and a very nice host! Brenda was wonderful when I was there. It’s close to Pecos, and if you book it’s worth the wait to order food from panchos best burrito I ever had. Would definitely book again!

Great spot close to Santa Fe
Great spot with lovely hosts! You feel like you are far out of town with a beautiful night sky but you have the convenience of full hook ups! Brenda is great to communicate with and her directions were on point especially since we were pulling in in the dark. If you plan to bring your pup make sure to bring something to wash their paws or little booties bc you are in nature and they will get dusty or muddy!

Brenda's directions to the campsite were very easy to follow. We enjoyed our multiple walks around the property and the sweet pup that lives there. The mountain views were beautiful, and we had no trouble with the hookups. We will be back for another relaxing weekend!

Magical hidden gem of a campsite
What a beautiful property. I didn’t get to stay long enough to enjoy all the place had to offer. My dog loved swimming in the pond and the property is easy to walk and explore. It rained while we were there and I got a good days work in with excellent internet.

The Bay Campsite
Beautiful place
I only stayed the night, but this is a beautiful place. Mixed pinion and old hardwood trees. I camped by the pond and it was lovely. It was a beautiful sunrise. The birds were going crazy in the riparian area.It is clear that the owners care both about the land and the guest experience.

The Cove Campsite
We stayed at “The Cove” for one night in our rooftop tent, and loved it. The property is beautiful, campsites are spaced out well, and it was quiet/relaxing. We also really appreciated how clean the bathrooms were.

We loved staying at Brenda's Outback sites. It was just off the highway, easy to get to but you'd think you were in the middle of nowhere. Brenda was so nice to bring us fresh eggs from her chickens and her pup was such a sweet calm soul. I would definitely go back. Her property is beautiful and you're welcome to wander.

We enjoyed the solitude of this campsite. The best part was sitting outside after dark and looking up at the heavens. It was a cloudless and moonless night - perfect for star gazing. The Milky Way was clearly visible as were several familiar constellations. Very enjoyable!

Beautiful site, friendly host
We loved Brenda’s site! The directions were perfect. There were 3 sites in our area, and all seemed pretty level. The overall view is beautiful, but walking around you can also see a nice pond as well as Indian mounds. Brenda and her dog walked down and both were very friendly! Highly recommended

Big Sky, great hosts!!
Our RV site (1 of 3) was perched up near the top of the property giving us amazing panoramic views of the valley & surrounding fields, rolling hills & peaks beyond. Yes, it was that good. Especially with full hookups. The eggs were great & so was the property watch dog. Nanny was a big sweetheart but knew when to patrol. There decent cell service (Verizon) but their Wi-Fi was better than the service. Brenda & Jimmy take real pride in their 40 acre property & it shows. They're consistently making improvements & always responded quickly & helpfully. We can't wait to go back & see what has been updated!

Mountains, Pines, and Birds
This place is great. 30 rural acres with 3 rv pads. Water, electric and septic, nice flat gravel spaces. I definitely want to come back and stay longer. I actually added a day because I like it so much. It is a gated property, so pretty and quiet. Hiking to do in Pecos, the historic site is nice. The owners are super friendly and responsive. Mountains, pine trees, birds, very lovely.

This was such a fabulous Hipcamp find! Full hookups, level sites (and working wifi!) in a beautiful private setting that lets you fully enjoy this gorgeous piece of property in the middle of one of the prettiest parts of New Mexico…AND also happens to be a few yards away from prehistoric ruins…AND there’s chickens and peacocks and a super sweet dog and cats…AND the very best hosts you could hope for! Brenda was so kind, super helpful and generous (let me borrow some hookup gear that i left home without) and was just a true joy to be around whenever we needed anything. Seriously, who could ask for more? We could not have asked for a better Hipcamp experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again!

Peaceful RV Camp
Even though it rained a lot the weekend we were camping, the ground was very pourous and soaked up the water. Therefore, we didn't have to deal with much mud. Very peaceful and serene. We enjoyed our stay and will go back there again.
