The views from this farm were spectacular! Facilities were clean and quiet and when it rained we were able to take cover under the barn. Jenny was super helpful and a pleasure to meet.

Fabulous camping on the range!
We loved the peaceful setting with mountain and pasture views and a bubbling stream in a grove of old cottonwoods next to the site. Gorgeous sunset, beautiful scenery to walk the dog, and lots of space to stretch out. Very clean toilet, and there is nearby source of water. We even had a magical encounter with a great horned owl who was nesting in the hay barn.
Jenny greeted us with warmth and smiles, and the farm fresh eggs and ground beef were delicious!
I think this is one of the best places we’ve ever camped. We will definitely be back!

Jenny's ranch is a perfect escape from everything. She is an absolute delight and spending some time tucked amidst the hay with the company of owls, deer, cows, horses, marmots and more is a perfect chance to disconnect.

Camping among the cattle!
What an unforgettable experience. The stack yard was such a quiet, peaceful area for our little camper. We could hear the sound of small creek beside the yard along with the hoots of a Great Horned Owl every night - it was heavenly. This location served as good home base for our visit to Yellowstone and Bozeman.
This is a real working ranch, so I was lucky to partake in some early morning farm chores, and I enjoyed every moment spent with Jenny, the owner. I was fortunate to be there during calving season, and the baby Red Devon calves were the cutest babies I’ve ever seen. I loved learning some things about ranching life. Plus, Jenny is just the coolest! Stay here if you love learning about ranching, farm animals, and life in Montana, in general.
My husband and I will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Storm prevented my stay, no refund
I was heading toward the camp when a storm broke out and delayed my travel. I messaged the host to determine if I would be able to arrive at night, but when I didn't hear back for almost 6 hours, I panicked and got a hotel for the evening. She finally texted back and I told her I would not make it, but she refused to give me a refund. So I'm not able to give a review of this site, but definitely double-check the weather before making a reservation.

Perfect Tent Spot Among the Hay Bal
This was awesome! Jenny was a great host and met us at the haybale area to "check in". Great talking with her and learning about the space. Lots of options to set up our tent, and the sound of the creek nearby made for a wonderful night of sleep.

Hay there!
Jenny was great! She didn't mind that I pitched my tent up in the hay barn to avoid the rain.. All night, I enjoyed the sweet aroma of hay. Despite sleeping at a cattle ranch, it was udderly peaceful and never herd a thing. The creek provided a perfect sound-machine.

Best Glampsite in Montana!!!
Jenny’s place was fantastic! Jenny is a great host. She is so friendly and welcoming. The space is beautiful. If you’re looking to experience small town Montana you have to stay here! The bed is cozy, the view is gorgeous, and everything is very clean. It was such a treat staying here!

Beautiful, quaint cabin.
Amazing view, and an adorable little cabin. We had a short stay because we had an early flight to catch the next day. But next time I’m in Montana, I’m going to specifically seek out this cabin for a few nights. Perfect for a little get away!

Best part of our trip!!!
Jenny is the best!! We had such a great time and she let my boys, 7yo and 5yo, meet her cows and chickens! The campsite is nice and private with plenty of room for little legs to run free after a long car ride and the mountains and sunsets are amazing!! After the kids were asleep there was nothing but silence. Delicious silence, with the occasional mooo in the distance and the soft sound of the stream nearby. We bought eggs with bright orange yolks and I’m looking forward to making hamburgers with her happy beef. We will definitely be back next summer to visit her wonderful farm.

Staying at this working cattle ranch was so much fun. Jenny is such a great host, and super fun to chat with (seriously, some one should make a movie or at least interview Jenny, so many interesting stories!). The location was excellent, with so many great options for hiking, swimming and exploring near by. Definitely go to Norris hot springs and the diner in Harrison for breakfast!

10/10! Riley and Jenny were so kind and generous, answering all our questions, showing us around the ranch, providing water and a safe space to sleep, and letting us meet some animals (as well as ride some of the vehicles)! The ranch is gorgeous and serene. Very calming and our toddler loved it! Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

Restful and authentic
This was a really lovely experience. The bed was comfortable, the cabin spacious and the amenities well appointed. The hosts were kind, thoughtful and responsive. The home is mostly off the grid but you would never know it with the beautiful space.
The cows are gentle and the cats and farm dogs friendly. Make sure you check out the local hot springs and restaurant just 15 minutes away.

Serenity
Serenity. Gracious host. Perfect little cabin with comfy bed and warm shower. Beautiful sunset. So appreciative to have been able to share this little piece of heaven for a couple of days. Jenny is obviously dedicated to caring for the land and her passion is contagious. We enjoyed wandering the ranch and the warm welcome of her dogs and cats. Riley was away, but Jenny went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable -- offering extra bedding and fresh eggs :). Peaceful ending to an awe-inspiring, whirlwind week of seeing a small slice of beautiful Montana. Enjoy! Wish we were still there...
(The diner a few miles away in Harrison served a great lunch and delightful breakfast. Prepare ahead for having a meal after 3PM as nearby options are limited. The small grocer in Harrison stays open until 6 or so. He has essentials and is super friendly).

We enjoyed our stay. Our site was near the river, which made our stay even better because we enjoy the peaceful sound of the river. The are is also quite. The owners are friendly and nice ❤️. I even got a tour of the ranch and got to touch one.

Loved it!
Red Devon Ranch was amazing in every way! Riley met us as soon as we arrived with fresh, cold water and showed up around the site. We enjoyed swimming in the river as well as hiking around the ranch. The shade was a welcome part of the site, which allowed us to keep our tents cool and dry each day and night. Would highly recommend. Can't say enough about how lovely Riley and his family were with us!

Really enjoyed our stay here! Riley was very welcoming and extremely accommodating. The cabin was great and the amenities were perfect for our needs. Would recommend adding some of the local add ons, the beef we purchased was very good! Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Peaceful land and welcoming hosts!
We stumbled upon this ranch as part of a last minute trip. It ended up being one of the highlights! The property is so peaceful, even as a working cattle ranch. Riley and his mother were welcoming and very laid back. Having access to a hot shower was such a blessing at the end of our long days. For this trip we were busy with activities, but I would love to come back here and just relax on the property all day. You're not going to get better sunrises or sunsets! Also, Riley mentioned there are hot springs about 15 min away! We didn't make it this time, but it will be on our list for our next trip.

Beautiful location, friendly hosts
This is a nice little cabin. The owners bend over backwards to be helpful. I stayed 4 nights, and used the cabin as a home base for near by adventure. It is in a beautiful location. Small cabin, with wifi. No running water in cabin, but a water cooler provided. In separate building, a very small shower, with great water, and a sink. Very private and safe. I am over 60 and travel alone, so this was perfect.
