Hippie Trailer @ Milo Farm
My stay at Milo Farms was better than I could have ever expected! I arrived after dark and Lance noticed right away and helped me haul my stuff up to the Hippie Trailer (which is pretty far and up a steep hill, so I was thankful to see his gator pull up). He also pointed out where the outhouse was🙏. First things i noted were a beautiful view of the full moon and the outhouse was very clean and well maintained. The next morning I explored the property and all of its trails. There are so many cool things to see! I think the gnome home was my favorite spot or maybe the tree of wisdom. I visited with the farm animals, which are the highlight of the stay. There was a little black baby goat that is a BIG snuggler. He followed me around and kept nuzzling his face into my coat or in between my legs. Such a sweetie. The big brown guy with a beard was also very sweet and affectionate. None of the animals compare to Plato and Maya though. These are two of the sweetest donkeys with so much personality. Plato does such a good job protecting the herd of animals. When we first met, I was petting the little black goat and he came up and made sure I knew he could turn his butt quick if I tried any funny business. We became best buds by the end of my stay though and he kept biting at my clothes when it was time for me to leave. (I'm very familiar with donkeys, please don't read this and let them chomp on ya. They have strong jaws). I'm running out if space but it was amazing! Thank you!!!

Hippie Trailer @ Milo Farm
Second visit to the trailer!
This was my second trip to the trailer and it was cool to see that there were a couple additional items in it for guest's comfort. I stayed at a cold time (temps around 30), so layered up in addition to using the heater. I like the trailer because it's a great place for reflection and enjoying the moment. The daily visits from the farm's animals fill me with delight and childlike wonder and the trails are perfect for walking meditation. I'll be back again, probably a bunch!

Hippie Trailer @ Milo Farm
This whole farm had such a calming vibe. My favorite areas were the Tree of Wisdom and the Gnome Home trail, but loved being on all of trails. The Hippie Trailer was super cozy and was excellent for a solo getaway for a mom of 4 young kids.

Tent Camp Sites @ Milo Farm
I really enjoyed the campsite. It was beautiful and a lot things to discover on the trails. The campsite had a grill, table, and fire ring and a trash can. So it was equipped well.
It was a nice hike to the campsite so if you have quite a few things, go ahead and rent the golf cart. It's worth you money. Also, there isn't good mobile phone access so consider that.
I would stay again with some friends.

The land is so peaceful and lovely! Many trails to wander through and it's close enough to town that if you forget anything, you can run out to grab it at any of the shops in Grain Valley, but still far enough away that you can see the stars at night.

Freedom Field
Nice place! We camped with our dogs in Freedom Field where there is plenty of space to spread out. The farm animals were fun to meet, though our dogs were scared of the donkeys lol

Tent Camp Sites @ Milo Farm
Lovely, out of the way spot. Directions were easy to follow. Google Maps had no problem. It seems a welcoming, inclusive place. I would have preferred to have someone there when I arrived to provide a little guidance ie. amenities, where to get potable water but I figured things out. Terrific place!

This was such a fantastic, peaceful place to camp for us. Everything was perfect to find, and Loni came make sure we had everything we need. I loved how close it was for us, and we enjoyed our evening under the stars.

Site 10 - Freedom Field @ Milo Farm
Peaceful
We found this beautiful land very last-minute while on a long road trip back to MN. What a hidden gem and wonderful surprise. We camped in Freedom Field and it was so quiet. We could hear other campers in the far off distance but mostly we had the area all to ourselves. The sunset was beautiful and it was heaven. We will be back!! 😊

Not a magical time
A/C and shelter and privacy….I guess it was a little better than being out in the woods with nothing. There is not quiet, there is no peace, and there was definitely no magic. The “forest” is very young and the trails were just kid trails through the woods behind grandma’s house. 4 wheeler, chainsaw, tractor, gun fire, TRAFFIC!!! Noises all day and night….if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this isn’t it.

We had a great time at Milo Farm staying in the bunk house! Loni and the camp hands were great and so accommodating. Great experience for little kids, we enjoyed hiking the trails and swimming, the telescopes and all the activities. Highly recommend!

Glamping at it's finest!
Everything about Milo Farm was amazing! The perfect getaway from the city hustle and bustle! Sitting by the campfires, hiking the trails and enjoying all the animals were just a few of the many awesome experiences we had while staying! I love that there are various options for sleeping to- they have campsites, glamping type sites and even a full lodge! We absolutely will be back many many more times!

Magical and wonderful!
The hippie trailer is a lovely "glamping" experience. Milo Farm is a magical and sacred place. So many wonderful things... beautiful fire pits with bundles of firewood available...miles of wonderful trails... wildflowers galore,..the sounds of insects and frogs singing...visits from the goats and donkeys... swimming in the saltwater pool...a marvelous host... highly recommend this place!

Sacred Retreat in the woods
I had the best time staying in the Hippie Trailer. Loni and her sacred land have such a beautiful and wild energy. The space itself is surrounded by trees, creating shade most of the day and a feeling of privacy within a small farm community. There are trails, ponds, hammocks, fire pits and soooo much more. One of my favorite places around Kansas City!

I love the serenity and vibe. The art house is sweet and a great place to meditate. Hiking trails are well groomed. And the bunkhouse is comfortable and has such a fun bohemian flair! The window unit ac keeps up even on very hot days and cools off the cabin really well! I love going out here just to get away from the city and experience peace and nature.
