Homesteaded more than 100 years ago this farm is somewhat stuck in time. Once this was a prosperous dairy operation. Location location location, this place is my slice of heaven on earth. Located in the corner of 4 townships on an extremely quiet road. Our farm now raises grass fed beef and wooly pigs pastured along driveway along with the usual cast of a farm, dogs, cats, chickens, guineas and goats

RV-ing with the Hosts and Animals.
The site was exactly perfect for what we wanted, the hosts were as nice and welcoming as we could have wanted right from the moment we arrived. Seeing the animals on site was a wonderful bonus. Thank you so much and we will be coming back next season for sure.

We had a wonderful time. Our kids loved the animals and it was great falling asleep and waking up to all the crickets and frogs.

Camping with animals on a real work
Travis was a great host! It was so great to be welcomed into a REAL working farm. It is rustic and my kids were in heaven to be surrounded with all the farm animals. Travis was kind enough to bring the kids around for the morning feedings and even offered us to stay in their extra guest space, hey usually reserve for their children and grandchildren when it unexpectedly rained while we were camping on their property. We will make sure plan to stay longer next time!

In the Outback of Minnesota
We got there a couple hours past check-in. I texted Travis and he and Connie were there within 10 minutes. Travis immediately helped us choose our site and thoroughly explained the hookups. The farm is in a beautiful spot with amazingly old, old trees. Others have written about the fun farm animals. We didn’t interact with the farmlife but net their giant Holstein steer, the donkeys, goats and, best of all, the baby goats. Our site was beautiful. Grassy with shade and sun, picnic table, fire pit and free firewood. I was there with my son and fam in a motor home but would love to come back with my tent. Beautiful wooded trails and a spot to watch the sunset and stargaze. Travis and Connie couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and filled us in this homestead’s AMAZING history. Travis is, as I understand it, either the fourth or fifth generation in his family to own and live there. While we were relaxing outside, talking and having refreshing drinks, a turtle came walking through the site. This excited the dog more than any of the farm animals.

Beautiful and Peaceful
Travis's farm is great. The hiking trails are beautiful and there are so many animals to see. The farm is incredibly peaceful. The bathroom is in the basement of his house which is a nice. I was in the area for family events so we did not spend as much time on the farm as I would have liked, which just gives us a reason to go back. Travis and his wife are very nice. There was the chance of sever storms in the area and Travis even took the time to text us to make sure we knew to go to the basement if we needed to seek shelter. He was a caring and gracious host.
