NRPines Camper at River Farm
We spent two fun nights on Daniel's land in the camper. It was so fantastic to come to a site which is all set up with a campfire just waiting to be lit! We loved walking around the pathways through the wildflower, feeding the horse, and peering at the stars in the quiet night. The camper was comfortable, spacious and so convenient. What a luxury to have lights, hot water, and even a bit of heat to take off the chill in the morning. Dan and Jayne were wonderful hosts. I wish we had been able to spend more time on the property!

Spacious and beautiful!!!
Daniel was super friendly and super knowledgeable a pleasure to talk to and beautiful land. The berry juice they gave us was really yummy and different. My family and I were already talking about coming back. My daughter in law fell in love with "Red" the beautiful horse. Great weekend would definitely recommend to anyone.

First time camping here… Beautiful.
We had a great time staying at Dan and Jana’s… they have an absolute beautiful property! Little “sketchy” getting travel trailers into certain areas, but what the heck… camping is an adventure right… lol… great people, great property…

Hosts are excellent and accommodating. Had firewood, brought 5 gallons of water to us, asked were we wanted the picnic table and fire ring. Had a porty potty available. Red the horse is very nice. Should weather have turned nasty, had accomadations available. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent spot for hammocks. Would go again

Peaceful, pretty farm
My grandkids and I stayed here for a night on our way home from Minnesota. Daniel met us upon arrival and showed me how everything worked in the camper. The camper was nice and it was clean. Daniel brought us a big jug of potable water. All the kitchen supplies we needed were available. My grandson was thrilled to sleep in the loft bed with my granddaughter on the bed beneath him. My bed was quite comfortable. Looking out of the camper door, it is a pleasure to view a field of a variety of wild flowers. We walked down to the pond and the kids were very excited to take the paddle boat for a spin. We used that paddle boat twice while there. I preferred the kayak myself! The pond was just big enough that it was fun for all of us to get out on the boats, but small enough I was comfortable letting the kids take the paddle boat out on their own. Daniel provided life jackets of various sizes for us. The kids loved all the frogs, including a very friendly bullfrog who was hanging out on top of the canoe our first night there! I enjoyed watching the crazy thunderstorm clouds blow in and then a glimpse of a pretty sunset once the quick storm passed through. In the morning, it was peaceful to sit outside drinking coffee, looking over the wildflower field.

Camp at North ridge pines
We stayed one night at campsite #1 over 4th of July weekend at north ridge pines. The stars and fireflies were unbelievable. The campsite was very private, sheltered by trees on two sides, had an amazing view of rolling hills, and was on the other side of a pond from the camp hosts home. The path to get there was well cleared, and Dan escorted us to the site, started a fire, and set up a potty tent on our arrival. Dan and Jane were so friendly and welcoming, providing lots of activities to do there such as canoeing and croquet, which we will have to enjoy on our next visit. Thank you!

Top notch hospitality
This was our second time camping at the North Ridge Pines which speakes volumes in itself. If you're looking to camp away from commotion of the public parks, have some serene and quality time with your family and friends, this is the place to be. Closely located with lot of activities in the vicinity. Top notch hospitality, and such warm and welcoming hosts! Highly recommended.

This was such a nice getaway spot! The RV we stayed in had everything we needed to be comfortable. Electricity, working shower and toilet, running water, and AC. The land is so big, I wished we had stayed another night in order to have really gotten to explore the land. The paddle boat and kayak was such a nice bonus. Dan was so kind to help me and boyfriend start a fire (we are city kids, never even held a lighter before). We can’t wait to come back with my siblings.

Our hosts Daniel and Jane made sure that we had everything that we needed including privacy to enjoy our beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Definitely a 5-Star camping experience.

Camping under the full moon!
We had such a beautiful stay! Dan set us up with a camp spot (5) secluded in the woods with a picnic table, toilet and shelter, fire pit, and firewood! The property is beautiful with trails and multiple ponds. They also offered us alternatives if it rained but the weather was great, full moon! Thank you both for hosting and opening up your land for travelers to enjoy!

Lovely views and people
This was a great place to stay, for both the hosts and location. The trailer was comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. They also loved catching butterflies and bugs with the nets the hosts gave us as we walked around the beautiful trails. We were only there for one night, but hope to visit another time and stay longer.

Great Farm
We had a great time camping here with alot of children. The host always checked on us to make sure that we are okay or to see if we need anything like water or firewood. The children enjoyed going up and down the hill. They caught frogs, crickets, grasshoppers and monarch butterflies. We also took the kayak for a spin in the pond. I will definitely be back soon.

Excellent p
Beautiful and relaxing campsite! Our stay truly surpassed our expectations! While we had read the previous reviews, we were very pleasantly surprised at how large the whole grounds were and how private our site was. We enjoyed meeting the hosts - super friendly and excited to share the land for us to enjoy. We walked the paths cut into the prairie that were filled with wildflowers and soaked in the stars and sunrise. We used this campsite as a launch to hike in Minneopa State Park and then the next day to bike on the Sakatah Trail. Highly, highly recommend!
