Site 4 - Barefoot Pines
Pretty and convenient!
We have friends in Ocean Pines and we enjoy doing things in Berlin. And we love Assateague. Barefoot Pines is perfectly situated for all those things plus Ocean City. The sites were well laid out with full hookups. We were near the road but there was very little traffic so we were not bothered. Jane was really responsive. We would stay again for sure.

Site 4 - Barefoot Pines
We had a great stay at Barefoot Pines. The location just outside of Berlin made it easy to get to Assateague, Ocean City and of course Berlin. The water, electric and sewer hookups were very much appreciated as was Jane’s wonderful hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

Site 4 - Barefoot Pines
We had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Pines. Jane was friendly and responsive to any calls or texts, while at the same time left us to ourselves and our privacy as much as wanted. Central location between Assateague parks and Ocean City, 15-20min in either direction. And just 5-10min down the road from fam-friendly “Frontier Town” where we enjoyed ice cream stops and mini-golf with the kids.

Jane and her husband where very gracious and inviting and showed us where everything was and it was just a very calm and peaceful weekend close to Ocean City and close to the little quaint town of Berlin, and close to Assateague Island, very excellent host...

Site 4 - Barefoot Pines
Great utility, good beach access
The sites were narrow but offered electrical, water and sewer, which made for an excellent option to compete with the Labor Day crowds on Assateague Island. Clean and just as promised. Proximity to Assateague Road meant a lot of road noise during peak traffic times, but access to the beach made it a positive overall!

Great proximity to everything!
We enjoyed our three night stay here with our 33’ travel trailer! Full hookups and it was a great location to explore Assateague, downtown Berlin, and Ocean City Beach/boardwalk all during one stay!

Site 3 - Barefoot Pines
Jane and her husband greeted us and were more than helpful to us after our long trip. They allowed us to borrow an electrical adaptor until we were able to purchase one. The location was very convenient. We enjoyed the fact that they only had a few sites, so it was peaceful and relaxing.

Site 3 - Barefoot Pines
Nice place
Jayne’s has modern full-hookup sites on a nice compact property. Only 40 amp service is available but she immediately offered to loan an adaptor (we had our own). Her welcome and guidance could not have been more professional. The site does sit by a main road so if you sleep w windows open the sound of vehicles may be an issue but was not for us. There was some patio furniture to be shared among the four sites but didn’t appear to be used much. We loved the fact that we were just minutes away from the National Seashore.

Site 1 - Barefoot Pines
Great spot with awesome amenities in a very low key area. You feel like you’re in the middle of no where and at the same time are near by to many places to eat and things to do. Jane and her husband are very nice and were there to answer any questions and help in any way. My wife and I were having A/C issues with our camper and they were doing what they could to help, which was unnecessary but very kind of them. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

Convenient and clean!
James and her husband were awesome! Texted leading up to visit, gave great directions, offered to help, but gave totally privacy. Sites were super clean and good-sized. “Community” fire pit that was nice, and conveniently located to OC without all the craziness! 12-15 mins away. Will definitely still again next year!

Site 4 - Barefoot Pines
Friendly host and easy access with our trailer. Close to town and Assateague/Ocean City. Very nice sites. About 50 ft from a moderately busy road but our air conditioner blocked the noise. Full hookups we’re great. We were able to have a campfire and our kids ran around freely. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful and close to everything.
Great little spot between Assateague and Berlin, MD-10 minutes either way. I showed up without the right plug on my camper and Jack brought an adapter right out.

Wow! Just wow!
Jane and her husband have created their own little resort with full hookups (50 amps, water and sewer)! I booked this location because I couldn't get into Assateague's campground and now I'm so glad Assateague was full. It's about six miles from the state park and away from the hordes. You can spend the day at the beach and then come back to the Pines to relax. Definitely putting this on my list to visit again.

We loved staying at Jane’s! The location is a perfect spot if you want to visit Berlin, Assateague, West OC (or all three like we did!). It has full hookups and was easy to back in to. We can’t wait to come back!

Site 1 - Barefoot Pines
Great FHU pre/post Boondocking
I stayed at Jane’s place twice. She was responsive, friendly and willing to accommodate. The location is great and close to OC, Assateague & Berlin. Her set up with FHU is awesome and everything is new. I stayed the night before & after boondocking on the island for a week. I charged my batteries and was happy to have electric. The other campers that were visiting were great also. I was there on Bike Week and then another weekend that had perfect weather. Site #2 was easy to back into and my 22’ and truck fit in so I didn’t need to unhitch. Perfect for overnighting.

Delightful beach vacation spot!
What an effortless experience. Enjoyed our time at Barefoot Pines! So close to the beaches without the normal circus. Even closer to Berlin which was an unexpected gem. Full hookups were a lifesaver from the hot, humid, rainy weather.

Easy Breezy in Barefoot Pines
Stayed at Barefoot Pines for four nights in my RV, with my son and daughter and it was great! Jane and Jack were friendly, helpful, and down to earth.
Location is great, 15/20 minutes to OC, and 10 minutes to Assauteague. Good water pressure, electric, and sewage. Definitely will be coming back.

Small, Quiet, Perfect Campground
This was a great little campground! With only four pull-in spots, it's fairly private. The owners are right on site if you need them for anything and are very friendly. Hookups are all new and easy to access and use. Spots are very nice and level. Attractions like Assateague State Park as well as a cool local brewery (Burly Oak Brewing) and other local restaurants are all just a few minutes drive away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a small, quiet campground in this area!

Awesome location, only a few miles from Ocean City and the ponies! Full, perfectly functioning hook-ups. Pretty quiet and private location. Owners were very nice and informative about the area. They were helpful whilst still giving us plenty of privacy.
