Exactly as described
Exactly as described. If you need a low key / no frills place to park in this area with access to a bathroom and power this is a good option. I personally wouldn’t want to tent camp here but in a camper with window covers to block out the barn lights it worked for us. Staff I encountered were friendly and my daughter enjoyed meeting some of the animals.

Overall it was okay but nothing what I expected. There's not a designated camping area and most of what we had was all on a hill. It was right next to where they'd walk the horses and numerous times they'd have them going around our tent. There's nowhere to have a fire except in this small area far away from your tent. Also you had to park and walk about 100 yards to the camping area, very hard if you are lugging a bunch of gear.

Great camping spot, found a nice secluded tent spot up on the hill surrounded by lots of trees. We felt very comfortable and the host was nice when we arrived. My only issue was we paid $7 for a bundle of firewood, and we’re just offered to use any wood from a pile near the pit. At first this seemed fine, but when we went to start a fire later, it turned out to be almost entirely full tree branches and large pieces of lumber that were much to big to be of any use. The few pieces still in the fire pit were very wet and also unusable. We managed a small fire to cook our dinner, but it was the most high maintenance fire of my life that was made of a few large sticks and fed mostly my twigs. Otherwise it was a lovely spot, but definitely have mixed feelings.

Perfect location!
Anna was great! So hospitable and made us feel like the farm was our own and that we could really enjoy ourselves. Beautiful area, nice little road with a creek for a long walk (3 miles). Area to have a fire or picnic. We really enjoyed being near the horses and petting them/getting to know them. Highly recommend.

Real Country Life
I felt exceptionally happy in my tent on a hill, but others may not like the occasional trains, airplanes, and constant crickets that form my heaven! I spent my days elsewhere and only came 4-8PM in the 95 deg. heat. My setup includes a Craftsman battery-powered fan of exceptional strength. I also use a rubber-backed, doubled over heavy rug plus a tarp under my tent, good for the heavy rain! I also carry a chemical toilet to "covoid" public bathrooms. One carries all items about 50 yards. I stayed 4 days, so no problem. I loved it and would go back in a second.

A great place if you are a horse person or are in the area. Anna was super nice and accommodating even though we were 2+ hours late and she was preparing for a trip to a horse show. The site was very private, quiet and comfortable.

A night on the farm.
Pulling into the driveway, you instantly realize you’re on a working farm. Farm hands walking horses to their stalls while others tend to chickens. I got to the barn and one of Anna’s team was there to greet me with a warm smile and directions for the property. I had a great evening of walking the property, visiting the animals and feeling like I was in the middle of nowhere (very peaceful). Most importantly, I had a great nights sleep and felt safe and secure.

Connecting with animals and nature
Anna was a very friendly host and invited me to join in on some of the social activities going on at the barn over the weekend which was very nice. I got to explore the barn and look at the horses. I felt very safe in the fenced in camping area other than a few animal noises at night. The night sky was beautiful.

We absolutely loved staying the horse farm and our dog loved it even more! Anna and everyone else were all so nice and welcoming. We enjoyed waking around the farm, seeing the horses up close, and our dog had a blast running around!

Great place - NO CAMPSITE FIRE PIT
Anna is very hospitable, great location to camp if you want to be around horses (or catch bullfrogs), and it's nice to have a toilet if needed. You set up in the grass behind the barn around the horse show area, which was fine. Not a ton of space and not too removed, but the pics on Hipcamp were accurate and that's what should be expected. Horses all around! As another reviewer noted the large lights on the back of the barn mean you don't feel like you're secluded in nature, but you are a few minutes from the Dari Bar, so that's to be expected. There is not the ability to have a campfire where you are camping, which is a big issue for me. Their fire pit is alongside the driveway, small, and we couldn't all fit around it for s'mores. We were able to bring a portable campfire pit - solo stove - that leaves no trace, but be aware if you like hanging around a fire pit outside your tent that's not possible. It's close to Cincinnati and Ft. Thomas/Northern KY, so for a quick and easy getaway that does not need an in-camp fire pit, this is a good option.

Fun, family-friendly farm!
First time Hipcamping-! Lovely overnight stay in our rooftop tent at this impressive working horse farm. Anna oversees a comprehensive operation of horse boarding, care, and riding. The horse stables are immaculate. The property also features free range chickens, proud roosters, the friendliest poodle you’ve ever met, farm kitties, and some baby chicks that Anna patiently allowed my kids to hold. Everyone was very friendly.
Don’t miss the Dari-Bar drive-up spot for corn dogs and ice cream about .5mi away.

Cute farm with horses and chickens
Check-in with Anna was quick and easy. She was very friendly.
The tent camping spot is secluded as it's out of sight from other buildings. The heated bathroom in the barn was an unexpected plus. The horses were also pretty to see.
There's a fairly large grassy-ish area for camping. I camped close to the barn to have some wind protection from some of the items that were stored in the yard. Because of my location, I noticed that the lights in the back of the barn seemed timed with sunrise/sunset. They were on late / it wasn't pitch black when I went to sleep. As a solo camper, I appreciated the light. Others who camp farther away would likely not notice.
There was a lot of noise from dogs in the distance until I went to sleep around 11pm. Definitely sounded like dogs, not coyotes. I think it was coming from the neighborhood a few hundred feet away.

Anna was super responsive, she answered my texts immediately.
I set up my tent near the outdoor riding ring, it was nice to watch the horse lessons in the evening. It’s convenient that I could use the restroom in the barn. I also enjoyed the view from the hill.
I did wake when a train went by during the night; I think this was just once.
I’d definitely stay at the horse farm again if I need to stop in the area

Perfect respite!
Driving through on a long road trip, and my stay here was the perfect respite! Anna met me at the driveway and guided me back to all the options for pitching the tent. Easy access to a private bathroom in the horse stables, otherwise no one else around. Located near a beautiful creek for stretching legs after a long drive. Highly recommend.

This campsite is amazing!! You can literally pitch a tent right next to the horses and even take a horse back ride. Its such a unique campsite and very convenient to have restrooms inside the barn. We will be back!

Relaxing night on a horse farm
What a nice site for camping! Good flat land and soft grass made for a comfortable night of sleep despite the heat. Loved hearing all the bullfrogs as we fell asleep and then, the birds when we woke up. Got to meet all the horses, the chickens, and the goat. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and we had the whole place to ourselves in the evening. It was so nice sitting outside our tent enjoying the solitude as the sun went down.
