We loved this place! The night sky was beautiful as is the desert vista. Heidi is a fabulous host and provided some nice extras for the campsite. We'd definitely stay again and recommend this place to others.

Wonderful.
This was our second visit. Heidi has an awesome location. The silence and the stars are immediately relaxing. We also enjoyed her farm mellowed dogs. Looking forward to our next visit.

The campsite offers a beautiful view out towards the desert mountains. In the other direction, you find two very friendly horses and a donkey. Heidi and her husband are friendly and have a set up that makes it easy to relax. Our second stay at Bullock Ranch was just as good as our first! Highly recommended!

Heidi was a great host! We did and instant booking and she was right on it. Greeted us as we came in and helped us get set up. We were just passing through so we were there less than 24 hours but a peaceful place to rest up and Heidi was very accommodating. She allowed our kids to play on the property and pet the donkey and horses from the fence.

Kid and pet friendly
Officially our first Hipcamp, and set the tone for a long trip. The hosts were so communicative, which was a nice beacon in the middle of last-minute trip packing and planning. They came to greet us as we arrived, and we’re super sweet. Their animals were sweet and welcoming too, and our dog Roux got some quality play time in with their dogs.
The site was quiet, we were the only ones there. Didn’t know how I’d feel about camping so close to person’s home, but it didn’t feel weird at all.

Heidi was super sweet and very welcoming! We came in later in the night and had no trouble following her instructions. All of the animals were super sweet and the property was beautiful. (the donkey was my favorite). Great first hipcamp experience.

Beautiful quiet ranch location with much to explore! Trails for days if you are adventurous. The owners were very welcoming and personable making the stay so easy! Heidi even made a point to come out and say hello after returning home late.
Gorgeous sunset and sunrise with the welcoming call of the rooster was awesome. Would definately stay again!

Amazing views and fun furry animals
Heidi was absolutely helpful getting us to her site, she went above and beyond to make sure we were set up and comfortable. The views were spectacular and our kids loved the open spaces. The 2 dogs there were so sweet and the horses were beautiful! We also had a surprise visit from a donkey in the horse stall that my kids thoroughly enjoyed. We would absolutely love to visit there again!

Safe and secure in the desert.
Wonderful hosts and great hospitality. Heidi kept me well informed throughout my trip and the welcoming party of their two dogs could not have been sweeter. Camping in the desert was awesome and the scenery from my tent was incredible.

Great campsite!
This site at Heidi's place is great! She's very friendly and gave clear directions. Great views from the land and a couple of friendly dogs. There's a big fire pit, chairs, and a table. It was a great spot to crash for a night after hiking by the Snake River

Beautiful place to camp. Hosts were very nice and friendly. Only thing that bothered us a little was neighbors dogs coming over and bothering us and eating our food left outside. Other then that it was a wonderful place.

I loved staying on The Bullock Ranch campsite, the views were stunning, hosts were so lovely, great communication with Heidi, always a super fast response to my questions and she even let me know about the weather which was really helpful on my journey there.
Loved meeting Sanchez the cute miniture Donkey and the friendly dogs.
I felt very safe and it was a great location less than an hour from Boise, the sunrise was beautiful. I couldn't have felt more welcome.

We loved camping on The Bullock’s Ranch! Heidi and her husband were very accommodating. Also if you are an animal lover this is the place to be. Their dogs, horses, and donkey were very friendly and adorable. The property was super clean and easily accessible from the road. Down the road there was a shop were you can rent ATVs and side by sides, which is something we will definitely be doing next time. There is also are endless miles of trails within walking distance and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Big sky country.
If you’re looking for a place off the beaten path with open vistas, this is for you. We took a long hike through BLM land within walking distance of of our campsite. The star gazing at night was surreal.

Perfect stopover
We loved staying here! Beautiful location and Heidi was a very welcoming host. The stars came out in full force at night and the sunrise was stunning — don’t miss it! The rooster should help you wake up in time :)
We were missing our dog back at home, so we really enjoyed petting the pups and playing fetch in the morning, as well as saying hi to the horses. We’ll be back next time we’re passing through!

Ranch w/ wonderful animals & views
Camping at Heidi’s ranch was a wonderful experience! We camped on the front lawn to get some extra shade and it was incredibly comfortable and a great spot to relax, drink some wine, and watch the sunset. The ranch is also full of friendly animals!
Heidi was an incredible host and provided everything we needed, and was even kind enough to make us some coffee in the morning and recommend some hiking trails in the area.
The ranch was well located ~45 minutes outside of Boise and very easy to travel to and from. I would highly recommend staying at The Bullock Ranch if you get the chance!

Heidi was such an amazing host and the views were incredible. The camping area was clean and very accessible. Her animals are very friendly and there’s lots of walking/hiking trails near the campsite.
