Lovely stay
My husband and I went on a little mini adventure this weekend. I booked Lucky Me Ranch about 45 minutes before we showed up to the most adorable little campsite. Risa was in touch right away. Our stay was relaxing and seamless! Thank you!

Nice overnight stop
We stopped at Lucky Me for an overnight rest on a long road trip. The other RV spots were already taken, so Risa kindly allowed us to park in the driveway and use her personal camper’s electrical hookup, so that we could run our AC (it was 105 degrees when we arrived). The property is easy to find & close to the freeway but also in a quiet country setting. We had a peaceful night’s sleep and woke up to the rooster and a beautiful sunrise. Risa was out of town during our stay, but was in contact by text and phone. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick overnight
Perfect place to pull in off the freeway as we passed through town. Pulled in alongside a couple fifth-wheels, set up camp, and made new friends with the many horses just steps away. Peaceful and quiet are the best way to explain it. In the morning, their pups came to play along with chickens and geese. Totally staying here again.

Delightful stop for the night!
We stayed here for the night passing through on a road trip. It was convenient to get on/off the freeway. We missed the instructions on taking the driveway that is immediately next to the sign and accidentally drove in the neighbors side of the shared dirt drive - this is very upsetting to her and she made her displeasure know by tromping over and yelling at us. We of course apologized profusely for our error. We parked our sprinter in the shade of the front trees (sycamore trees maybe?) and had a enjoyable stay! Our son loved making a monster truck course out of the stone steps and the farm animals were fun to look at! Bathroom/shower is functional, not fancy but neither are we so we were pleased to have this amenity! Great communication from the host - we would be happy to stay here again next time we pass through town! This is our first Hip Camp experience and we are off to a good start!

We needed a place for a quick stay overnight on the way home from Utah to Bend. Risa was very helpful. The ranch is easy to find, clean, beautiful... and a rooster for an alarm clock. It was great!

Camping While House Searching
My boyfriend and I were looking for an affordable place to stay while searching for a house and Risa’s land ended up being an excellent spot. It is close to Meridian and Boise while being tucked away from the hustle and bustle allowing us to relax at the end of the night.

My boyfriend and I liked camping on Risa’s land because it was close to Meridian and Boise while being an affordable place to stay. We slept in our car and pulled into a spot under two trees near the house. It was a pretty view and close to the bathroom. Other campers were quite and respectful.

I loved having a flush toilet and hot, wonderfully hot, shower. I enjoyed the quiet and watched a thunderstorm move towards me across the plains. Easy access to the freeway, but not too close.

Great location!!
The property was very nice. The owner was very kind on such a late notice letting us stay. The ranch feel is 100% their your able to see their very cute duck and horses. There was also a roster to wake you up in the morning.

Great Host Fixes Miscommunication
The location has a beautiful view, gorgeous/gentle horses within petting distance, and is conveniently placed near town!
Risa, the host, was empathetic and generous - and I think if she'd been present the entire time the experience would have been better for us!
Unfortunately, there was not specific enough instruction sent, regarding tent placement, and since she was out of town, we unknowingly placed within range of sprinklers and had to move twice during a sleepless night.
However, she was responsive and compassionate when she heard this and refunded us. Not only that she upgraded us and allowed us to stay in a camper - the upgrade, apology, and refund made up for the inconvenience and was deeply appreciated.

Lovely ranch setting
This ranch is a lovely spot. Risa is a welcoming host, the hookups are super, and there is a bathroom with shower. WiFi was good. The caveat is that, like with most Hipcamp situations, you are in a tight spot, even though on a scenic property.

I was camping/sleeping in my car so I was parked right next to a large RV however if renting you are essentially camping on their front lawn. Although the house is far back from the road, you don't have much privacy from the family who is living there. That being said, the shower and washroom were awesome. I was able to charge my laptop and it was what I needed for the night. Not super private or outdoorsy tho.

Awesome place
I enjoyed my stay at Lucky Me Ranch. The morning views are pretty amazing, and being right in the middle of a working ranch was pretty cool to observe. My needs are pretty simple -- power and a bathroom -- and they were easily met by the setup on the property.
The only negatives were of my own making, as both of my dogs are way way too interested in horses, so I was unable to have them outside my trailer during the stay. But the property is close enough to just about anything you need, including dog parks and hiking trails, so the issue was easily solved.
Overall I enjoyed the time I stayed and the privacy afforded me while I was there, and I will keep it in mind for future needs.

Risa’s farm was the perfect place for us to park for the night! We just needed a place to sleep but wish we could’ve stayed longer for a horseback ride! Very quiet, bathroom access was easy and it was so fun to wake up right next to the horses. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Wake up to mountain view’s!
Moving across the country with a uhaul and a car trailer isn’t easy nor inexpensive but with hipcamp I was able to find this awesome place to park for the night on Risas property. Risa was very friendly and helpful. We drove in at night so we had no idea to what views we would see upon waking up but we were not disappointed at all. Was very happy to get a hot shower this morning as well. Thank you Risa! If we ever come back through we will be sure to stay again.

An “urban” haven
In the middle of what has become so populated, it is a haven. Quiet, gorgeous view of the Owhyee mountains in the morning, convenient and clean. It was a delight to stay there!

Snow camping success
I loved tent camping on Sarah’s land. My favorite was the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and the freedom to be independent. The warm bathroom was a luxurious amenity.
