Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Hidden Valley is on 26 acres with frontage to Grady's Creek (the creek is our front boundary) and our back boundary is a goods train line, the train occasionally gives a toot to campers. We offer general camping, an area for tents and swags and we welcome custom group bookings. We have two amenities blocks (six toilets and six hot showers). We have a Tea Garden Cafe running, with barista made coffees and Devonshire Teas, breakfast menu, hot food (hamburgers, hot chips, ...) and cold drinks. Firewood and ice available for purchase. Hidden Valley is a dog friendly camping ground. However, it is the responsibility of the owner/s to keep their dog/s controlled at all times and on leashes, for all campers to enjoy their stay. There is no Local Council rubbish removal services available, so please take all your rubbish with you on departure. Facilities for recycling of cans and scraps is available. Please note that the Brisbane to Sydney goods train is nearby. Times vary according to supplies to port and the train may be heard from the campsite.

Hidden Valley Camping
Great spot, Nice and quiet, just the sound of the running creek. Lots of flat spots to choose from away from other campers and the dog was happy too. The hot showers are a great bonus in the winter too

Beautiful site
Amazing campsite. Nice and clean area very well kept. Little steam running through the property would be amazing for a swim in summer but still amazing to fall asleep to in winter.

Lovely people running the show, campground was excellent, really well maintained and a very fair price. Couldn't recommend this one more highly! Thank you, I will certainly be back again!

Hidden Valley Camping
Despite a pretty lack lustre check in, we really enjoyed our time at Hidden Valley. There had been a lot of rain and the area we had booked was closed, so there was only one camping option available to us- which had not been communicated until we got there. The ground was supersaturated and had been overused. This detracted from the overall experience, but weather is not controllable and the natural beauty of Hidden Valley shone through. There was a handy shower/toilet block and some sites had tap access. All seemed to have a campfire ring. We saw a family of 3 kookaburras which visited everyday and a carpet snake hung out in the top of the shower wall. The geology of the area was interesting and sitting by the fire listening to the creek flowing was very relaxing on the Monday when most other guests left. We did not utilise the cafe as it was made clear on check in, that they didn’t want to open for small numbers of guests. Was also not prepared that we should pack our own bags of firewood that was paid for days in advance. Given the weather, the toilet block was kept to a reasonable standard.

Hidden Valley Camping
This was our 4th time at Hidden Valley and we absolutely love it. The hosts are lovely and the valley is truly a hidden paradise. The creek is clean and refreshing to swim in, and the amenities are usually kept very clean (it does get a bit dirty when the site is very busy and the rain sets in). Can't wait for our next visit! 😊
