For those who want to travel differently, come get connected to the land and attend our ‘āina program at Oahu’s most stunning valley property. Also known as Sacred Valley, Kaliuwa’a is nestled on the northeast, windward side of the island. While easily accessible, it feels worlds away with both a valley view and a 15 minute walk to a deserted beach. No permits are required, above ground fires are welcomed: set up a tent, hammock (site 5), or sleep in your vehicle while giving back to the land! Guests check themselves in: straightforward directions are sent via a link in the Hipcamp chat after booking has been completed. Items to bring include bedding, bug spray, a flashlight, and secure food-storage containers. We provide clean restroom facilities with flush toilets and hose showers, just a five-minute walk from the campsite. There are also picnic tables for your dining needs: feel free to bring an above-ground There is a free one-hour ‘Āina learning experience that’s required, offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays. You’ll learn how to care for and tend the land and by staying with us, you are helping to contribute to our youth educational programs and to preserve this beautiful place for generations to come.
