Cleaner was sweet and showed me into the place, otherwise it was fine, lots of mosquitoes, comfy bed. I didn’t love the location.

We loved this place so much! It is 100% surrounded by nature, which made it feel peaceful and special.
The room was clean and very comfortable. We slept really well.
We felt very connected to nature. We could park the car close to us, and there is a nice outdoor area to relax and enjoy the view. The host helped us connect so we could charge our phone, which we really appreciated.
Waking up and seeing the animals in the morning was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. 🌿

I’d honestly like to keep this place a secret; it’s great. Very secluded, not very many amenities or comforts to speak of if you’re tent-camping, but that’s just what I look for. Watch out for that werewolf at night, though..

Great experience - despite the rain, the host did everything to make our stay comfortable, including providing iced coffee and a nice McDonald's breakfast in the morning. The cabin itself was comfortable, and horses, cows and roosters around were just adorable.

I rented the ‘Aloha Mini’ for 3 nights while staying on Henry’s farm- it was a nice upgrade from camping and was a perfect for me! Wouldn’t have more than 2 people to share that space however** The Aloha Mini was quaint and a cozy shelter during the stormy nights. The bed inside the trailer was pleasantly comfortable! Henry has done a wonderful job with keeping the area covered from any potential rain with multiple canopy tents set up. If it does rain, expect some decent muddy areas!
During my first morning, I was greeted by one of the horses casually walking around the property; spooked me at first but was a wicked cool thing to wake up too!
You can tell that Henry cares for his land and for his HipCamp travelers- him & another fella were activity upgrading the shower stall, making it a very private area to wash the day away.
I didn’t explore the farm too much, but there are tons of animals and even some puppies to say hello to! The location is extremely ideal when visiting the north shore- I would pack up my car and go spend most of the day in the north shore towns, but always came back for the Kahuku food truck options for dinner! TARO HUT! ✨🍔
If you’re looking for safety, comfort, convenience, and privacy, Henry’s charming farm tucked up in the hills near the wind towers, will be a perfect fit for you.

I could not stop telling friends about this place and our experience. :) it was a quaint space, with main essentials provided like chairs and table, outdoor seating & private bed space, with shower and porta potty also accessible, but no hot water.
It would have been nice if the host was there to welcome us when we arrived on the 31st for some guidance, he was very responsive over call & text so we found the location easier and met other farmer that informed us of more details about the location.
There’s 🐴 , 🐄 , 🦃 on safe perimeters, and 🐔, lots of chicks. Our dog to meet was a little in love with one of the horse- she kept trying to come closer.
We love how the day is quiet and how we lost track of time and sense of it during our New Year’s Day hiatus. We enjoyed our walk toward the ridge to get a view of the ocean and windmills, our side quest to say hi to the animals, and the fun of picking our own wood for campfire was memorable. Best view of night sky too!
Bring fly & mosquito repellent, cooking wares, and light source, then you’re good to go. :))

This was a nice stay! Although it was basic, it served the purpose and was just what I needed. Quiet, and the host was nice to check in and see if I needed anything. The animals were very sweet and nice to visit. The only feedback I have is about the shower- the shower curtain was quite flimsy and thin, and there was no additional door or changing area. Especially as a solo female traveler, I would have preferred a door or a sturdier/less see-through curtain. Thank you!

Honestly was disappointed. The surrounding area is beautiful (those stars!!!!), but we never met the host directly, nor did he make any move to introduce himself or show us around despite being on site. The bedding was sandy and smelly, the sounds of the farm (mostly radio and machinery) were quite loud, a nearby group of dogs was barking/snarling into the night, and trash that was 100% not ours appeared overnight (on the table between the trailer and our car).

This site was super cute, and the area is beautiful. The outdoor space with a campfire and cozy chairs was a highlight, and the farm animals are adorable! However, there was some excessive noise; the radio was playing into the night, and there were dogs barking all night. Additionally, the bedding was unclean, and we found the path to the bathroom to be a bit of a trek, especially unlit at night. We did notice that overnight, someone had been on the site and left some of their trash behind, which definitely made us feel uncomfortable.
Overall, we had a positive experience here. We especially loved the Christmas spirit!

It is a quiet and comfortable spot to sleep. Nice option at a reasonable rate that is hard to find on the North Shore: I did not spend much time outside of sleeping there but the host was very easy to communicate with and the location was convenient to the beach, grocery and restaurants. Bring drinking water and any other supplies you may need.

Excellent location, safe and not too far from everything. Close to turtle bay beach. Lots of animals and the little one really enjoy. Henry is very friendly and responsive. Very nice private area, with the extended cover and lounge chair outside the rv. Will return for sure.

First of all Henry is an amazing host. Generous and helpful. He cherishes the land and it shows. You really feel that this is a place to reenergize after a long day. It’s secluded enough to be peaceful but close enough to be able to go enjoy the island.

Really enjoyed my night on the farm in the camper. It was a comfortable set up, and very homey. And it was a short drive into town for a great selection of food trucks and stalls.

This was good for a one night stop on our trip around the island - nothing too fancy but not too shabby either. Inside the trailer is quite literally just the mattress, but Henry has laid out a nice outdoor area to hang out. Cold water only for the shower and bathroom is two port-a-potties, which is fine when camping. Host was very responsive and maintained privacy.

It was the best choice I made for my short stay in Hawaii, I stayed there for 4 nights. Ben and Henry were very welcoming and friendly! It’s was a beautiful experience living in a farm, natural alarm clock (rooster)! The camper was clean and well ventilated, mattress was comfortable. 3 mins drive to the beach, food trucks and grocery. Had no issues at all and would definitely come back!
