The Herb'n Soul Sanctuary is designed to be a sanctuary -- a sacred space for rest, renewal, and relaxation. The Sanctuary welcomes all. Your glamp-site is located in the center of a pine-oak-hickory-poplar forest adjacent to our active urban farming family, where we grow fruits and veggies, and raise goats, chickens, ducks and bees. The entire property is about 10 acres. But don't let the seclusion fool you! We are a 30min ride to the airport. You can enjoy a walk through our labyrinth that has over 80 blueberry bushes surrounding it. As an extra, you can have a tour of our family farm. Stone Mountain Park is also a short drive or bike ride from here, where there is hiking, paddling, golf, and amusement rides available. For a more local experience, the Pine Lake Beach is just a 1.5 miles away. It's a beautiful site for swimming and fishing. New to camping and not sure that you can cook an adequate meal over a fire? No problem. This site provides access to the best of country luxury alongside the city conveniences of DoorDash and UberEats, all in one place. We have a propane heater for the colder months and 2 battery powered fans for hot days.The Herb'n Soul Sanctuary is designed to be a sanctuary -- a sacred space for rest, renewal, and relaxation. There is one large canvas tent already set up with a queen sized bed (linens can be added as extra), and there is room to add additional tents around the site. There is no electricity at this site, however there are solar lights surrounding your camp area. Access to running water is available near the parking area. You will have 5 gallons of drinking water at the site along with additional water for hand/dishwashing. There is a gravity-fed camp shower. On site you will find a toilet/loo that is very simple to use and easy to take care of. Stone Mountain Park is a short drive or bike ride from here, where there is hiking, paddling, golf, and amusement rides available. For a more local experience, the Pine Lake Beach is just a 1.5 miles away. It's a beautiful site for swimming and fishing.

A Glamping Site with Canvas Tent
Kim was super welcoming and gave us great directions to the tent since we were arriving after dark. The site was extremely well stocked with firewood, card games, slippers, a lighter, water, and more. Overall, a great nature getaway while still being close to Atlanta!

Nice disconnect from the city
A Glamping Site with Canvas Tent
Loved the tent camping provided including the appliances available to cook. Great sleeping space in the tent. Only recommendation is if the tent for the toilet is a little bigger. It was quite difficult to utilize due to the tight space. Other than that, I recommend if you need a quick and simple space to get away from the city.

A Glamping Site with Canvas Tent
We rented Kim's campsite for my husband's 40th birthday celebration. The woods on her property are lovely and private. You feel isolated, even though her property backs up to neighbors. It's super tranquil. We did not spend the night, as we had toddlers and only live 30 minutes away. We did utilize the fire pit and the additional wood Kim gifted us was very appreciated. It had been raining for days (weeks) and the ground was muddy. Kim put down hay for us and it really turned out to be such a fun experience. The grill was basically brand new and there were so many additional amenities (plates, cups, grilling tools, a firestarter bundle). Even though we didnt sleep there, I could imagine a really fun night time experience. It is well lit and there are extra chairs and lanterns We loves exploring the woods and walking on the trails. A few weeks later and those bluerberries would be ripe and ready! Thanks for the wonderful time, Kim!

A Glamping Site with Canvas Tent
The good. Our host met us at the entrance and was very kind. He offered to help us carry our things down and quickly addressed a few small things I requested(dead lamp, damp/smelly toilet paper, made sure there was a lighter) the tent and site itself was nice and pretty clean. There were slippers left for us to use inside the tent and hammocks for everybody in my party. The not so good. The grounds could definitely use some extra maintenance between guests and/or finishing touches before arrival for me to consider it glamping and not just camping. There bug lamps were out of juice, the lamp in the tent was broken(but happily replaced when requested), yucky toilet paper(again happily replaced), the composting toilet shelter had a big tear in the front door, I paid for added on bed linens and at the price I paid expected the bed to be made up but that’s not a huge deal. The neighborhood seemed relatively safe when I arrived but the I heard several gun shots and many emergency vehicles though the night which made me pretty uncomfortable having two small children with me (but maybe that’s just because I’m used to camping in the boonies not just outside/on the edge of a city) I do unfortunately feel like the property and camp site didn’t live up to the description but it wasn’t terrible either.

The sweetest weekend !!

This was my first time using HipCamp or any renting platform, I was a little nervous about figuring things out, timing, etc. Leading up to our weekend stay, Kim was ready and willing to answer any questions that I had. Kim & Taylor are so awesome, communicative and super helpful!!!! Their space is beautiful! My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much!! It’s a super cozy and peaceful spot. Definitely would recommend!!! Incredible hidden gem in Stone Mtn!! ❤️

What a great time!

This was such a great time! Kim was very accommodating and Taylor was so helpful in getting us situated. They are very nice people and are willing to take requests as well. I really appreciated Kim’s help with getting a fire started. This place is beautiful.

A Glamping Site with Canvas Tent
We chose Kim’s spot because my mother lives near Stone Mountain and we wanted an adventure while visiting her for Easter. Situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood we felt completely safe being so close to Atlanta. I liked the well lit, large off street area to park. There’s plenty of room for multiple cars. Kim’s manager, Taylor, met me on-time, gave a wonderful orientation of the grounds and set up an extra hammock for us. I visited with my brother, so I rearranged the furniture a bit but the large canvas tent easily accommodated my cot. The memory foam mattress was great, the potty was easy to use and the trails through the woods were clearly marked. When I visit my mom and the weather is agreeable, I hope I can stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

The glampsite at Kim and Trina’s farm is truly a sanctuary in the middle of Atlanta. Not only is the set up a scenic getaway, but the hospitality that Kim and Trina create is truly unmatched. I will be coming back in the future when I visit Atlanta again. Lois

A Glamping Site with Canvas Tent
This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to glamp right outside of atlanta. It was only a 15 min drive to decatur and 25 to atlanta. The host was very nice and communicative. We had everything we needed and I would recommend!
