The Wandering Path is located 20 minutes north of downtown Milton FL, with 2000 feet of water frontage alongside the beautiful Coldwater Creek. We are more of a nature retreat than a traditional campground, offering spaced out Glamping and primitive camping along the creek, secluded in the middle of 20 acres. We take pride in the amount of peace and tranquility that this land has to offer and strive to keep it as peaceful as possible. If you’re looking to escape the everyday noises and stresses of life, this is for you. We currently have 4 Glamping tents (sites 1,2,3 and 7) on a wooden platform with electricity and 3 primitive campsites. Each Glamping tent has a full size (real) bed, lamp, fan, AC in the summer/heater in the winter and small storage shelf for food/clothes. Outside, there are solar string lights, picnic table, fire pit ring, small charcoal grill and trash can. Primitive sites have solar string lights, fire pit ring and trash can. The bath house is centrally located and is complete with 2 showers, 2 sinks and 2 toilets. There are 2000 feet of trails alongside the creek for hiking. Kayak rentals are available for guests with 24 hour notice. You may also bring your fishing gear and are welcome to fish in the spring fed creek. At night time, the stars are breathtaking without any city lights and every night is a perfect night for a camp fire. We look forward to becoming your go-to spot when you’re in need of recharging. Please pardon our progress as we grow! We are less than 1 hour from Pensacola and Navarre beaches, 15-20 minutes to local grocery stores and restaurants.

Perfect camping experience!
My wife and I spent two nights and both agree it was the best camping experience we’ve ever had! The owner was kind and helpful, the site was clean and beautiful, and we were able to completely relax and enjoy our time together. 10/10…we’ll definitely visit again SOON!

Blissful Nature Sanctuary!
I have no words for how truly beautiful this place is. Amanda has created such a lovely, inviting, safe space to truly reconnect with the beauty & simplicity that nature has to offer. I spent 1 night at campsite #5 (EPIC! Right on the river- you just come out of your tent to the most epic expansive view!) and couldn’t help but fall in blissful love with this land! I spent a peaceful 24 hours here with the intention of recharging + clearing my mind & that is exactly what being here allowed for me. Amanda is a beautiful human being and her two pups helped me feel right at home the moment I arrived! If you are a nature lover & a kind spirit, please know this is a lovely place to come and rest in the sanctuary of peace she has crafted with much Love! I’ll be back, many many many times! Thank you Amanda!
