This was our very 1st stay at a Hipcamp and our very 1st night out with our new Coleman Rubicon 1200RK.
Tom was such a great host. His Passion for the land and its history was so evident in his introduction during our meet and greet. It truly enhanced the experience that much more.

AMAZING CAMP SITE!!
We loved camping on Tom’s land! Not only was the pasture beautiful, but Tom was one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. He was so accommodating and gave us a great tour of the land! Including the awesome sink hole at his other camping site. We will absolutely be back to feed some more sheep and cows at the pasture. And to camp at his other site to dive in the sink hole!

Peaceful location, great host
Tom was super friendly and welcoming! The farm was so beautiful, watching the golden sunrise over the field was so peaceful. Near some great natural springs as well! Would totally recommend, and I will definitely be returning.

Arrowhead Sink
Tom made us feel so welcome from the start. He is passionate about camping and sharing his very abundant knowledge! We had so much fun learning and wish we had more time! There is much to see and explore here. This spot is great for intermediate campers! It was a pretty cold night, but the views of the full moon/stars, coyotes in the distance, and heat of the campfire really put it altogether.

Dunagan’s Meadow
Loved it! Tom's land was beautiful. And he was a friendly host, gave us a tour and shared some history of the farm.
If you're looking for privacy but also close to town - this is the spot. The town which was 7 minutes away had awesome restaurants, antique shops and a brewery.
We really enjoyed watching the sheep graze under the shade. And we already plan to come back!

We loved loved loved Tom’s property. It rained on our main day there which sucked, so we didn’t get to explore as much as we’d like. But we will definitely be coming out again if not more. But that did not ruin how much we had fun!
We brought our 9, 8, &2 year old there, and two Great Pyrenees. We all had a blast. Tom was great! We loved chatting with him. I loved playing with the cows and sheep! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Definitely recommend! Love how private it is too! Some HipCamps can stack you with many people. We truly felt like we were on a secluded piece of farm life!

Private and secluded camp site at the edge of a large field. Ample shade and a nice site with picnic table, camp fire ring, trash can and composting toilet. The sink is amazing!!! Definitely worth seeing. A great experience especially for the price. Tom is super accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Best campsite ever!
We love staying at all of Tom’s properties. It has become our favorite place to get away and unwind. This meadow is our absolute favorite place. Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed running through the meadow and burning off extra energy. It is so peaceful out here. We will be back again and again. Tom is amazing and his farm soothes our souls.

We loved our stay at Tom’s place . The primitive camping offered a secluded and peaceful space to enjoy nature. Tom was very responsive and cordial , very nice host. The sinkhole is small but very pretty, unique experience . We will definitely go back .

Tom’s land was beautiful! We had 35 acres to ourselves in a pasture full of sheep and cows. My kids were so happy to be able to feed the animals. Only 10-20 min drive to the springs in the area. We will definitely be back.

A meadow that feels like home
If you are looking for state park amenities with full bathrooms and running water, this is not your place. BUT…. If you are looking for an incredible place where you can enjoy nature, spend time understanding the gentleness of a new born lamb, or enjoy the antics only cows can bring, you really don’t want to miss out on this place. My biggest fear is it will become too busy for me to spent my own time here.

Tom is an amazing host! We were able to experience so many great things in only one night of stay. He took us to see baby lambs, pet the cows, and the Arrowhead sinkhole/cave which is absolutely breathtaking. Tom also provided logs and dry wood to light a fire in the night... And let me tell you, the starry night sky was just perfect. 5/5 will return.

Host is a Gem, Unique Property!
Tom (The Host) should be recognized as a National Treasure! So helpful, friendly, and eager to show you around his place.
I camped with my BF and our 33yr old Umbrella Cockatoo who travels everywhere with us.
We arrived about 5pm and I let Tom know ahead of time our ETA. He called in all his sheep for the night when we arrived and we got to watch the sheep all run home and bahhhhh to their nighttime pasture. It was so fun to watch.
We tent camped at the site nearest the sink hole, and stayed one night. Tom showed us the sink hole and history of the property. If you want to explore the sink hole then this site is the most convenient because it's right next to your site.
I want to emphasize that I never fault the host for things out of their control, but I do make a note of it on my reviews.
There were a lot of dogs in neighboring properties to Tom's property and they were all barking at each other up until about 11pm, & sporadically through the night. Roosters started crowing about 4am. So, "absolute quiet" wouldn't be a quality of this campsite. Again, completely out of Tom's control.
The sink hole/cave is so unique and really cool to experience. It was pretty low and was full of leaves when I went down so the water was very tannin brown and visibility was low. I wanted to snorkel it but realized I wasn't thing to be able to see much. I've run out of characters on my review 🙃 great spot, should go!

A place for your heart to heal
My favorite place to get away from the cares of this world. It is full of nature. It is safe, and it is a great place to see friendly animals and people. Tom is a friendly individual who is willing to share his land with us in a natural state. If you’re looking for state park amenities, this isn’t your place. If you are an avid camper and know how to live without facilities then this place is for you!!!

Amazing Campsite!!
What an amazing campsite! We already can’t wait to be back. Our two dogs absolutely loved running free in the hay fields. We were treated to about a dozen turkeys roaming through the field one morning. We heard a pack of wild coyotes the last night we were there. They were far away though. The cave and sink is incredible. What a fantastic property. Tom was awesome and we will be back before the end of the year. Thank you Tom for sharing your land with us. We loved every minute of it.
