Loved camping on Mehmet's land. He is very knowledgeable about the land and the features of the place. Site was well-kept. It was close enough to the house and yet far enough to be quiet and secluded.

Amazing host amazing place!! I can't seem to shut up about this place... Not only you wake up to this gorgeous view.. you can walk minute and bath in a river. The host has met us late at night, was super nice and showed us around the next morning. We met his donkies, chicks and even got some cool colorful eggs. We were with 6 kids and this place is heaven for kids and adults. I believe I will come again by myself so I can have this peaceful nirvana to myself !

What an amazing and inspiring property. Xico was a warm, welcoming and generous host. I felt welcomed to the property immediately, and felt like I belonged the entire time I was there. They really have a special location. The river is wonderful and fun, the scenery is gorgeous, and care they have taken with the land is obvious. I cannot wait to return, and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to escape for a bit.

My friends and I loved this setting. Days were HOT but the short access to the River made the days not only bearable but FUN! Incredible night stars and the host Mehmet and his helpers were helpful, kind and flexible with us. Highly recommend!

Mehmet’s property is beautiful and well kept. My group upgraded and we were provided with everything we needed. The river is a perfect spot to escape the heat. Loved that we had access to two outdoor showers and the outdoor kitchen. Aaron was very friendly and took care of us throughout the stay. Would recommend

Very peaceful weekend in the river
We didn’t pack super light despite knowing we had to cross the river to get to this site but we thought it was totally worth it :) we had an incredible weekend, full of swimming in the river to escape the heat and lounging in the shade! Would recommend this site and look forward to coming back! a few things: -bring water, potable water is a decent walk away from the site -the property’s dogs will likely end up at your site once or twice (they’re friendly!) -the owner’s young children (grandchildren?) came to our site randomly to swim in the river near us, which is fine, but a big surprise so perhaps keep this in mind when weighing the “clothing optional” policy thank you for a great weekend Mehmet!

The River!
The host was quick to accommodate our tall Sprinter Van with a easily accessible site. Oh and the River… not really mentioned much in the site description but the river is fantastic. The access is easy and the overall scene is awesome. The river really makes this place a favorite of ours. We will definitely be coming back!

Incredible Camping Experience
Incredible spot right by the crystal clear river. We had an amazing time. Not too hot even in July because it's shaded and the water cools down the air. Hosts were super accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. This is a special spot. For large groups I'd recommend booking both river sites since they are close-by to each other!

Last minute booking turned out to be our favorite spot! We left a campsite early due to rude and loud campsite neighbors and didn’t have anywhere to go. We stumbled upon this searching for somewhere nearby to go on short notice. It was the perfect peaceful and quiet escape we needed! Staff were friendly and helpful and the river was a super close 1 min walk for a refreshing swim! This is definitely on our list of places to return to! Thanks for having us :) The friendly dogs were a nice added bonus too!

Beautiful river, when they say pack light, they mean it! Great with our dog and super nice. Aaron was really helpful with moving our stuff and amazing to my son by showing him spots in the river to swim and getting him interested in the local plant life. Also naturally patient, my kids is on the spectrum so he can be a handful. Beautiful area, Iv told everyone Iv talked to about the place since Iv been back

Missed out
First red flag, messaged the host 4 hours prior to arrival that we are on our way and we received no confirmation. Shortly before arriving we tried to contact the host again, since we knew we needed a gate code. Upon arrival we noticed there was a wedding happening at the property that we were not notified about. Our spot was taken by people from the wedding…. We were there for maybe 30 min to and hour and no one could find the actual host (who deals with Hipcamp). They showed us a spot up above the river(no river in sight). And another a lottt farther of a walk and right next to people where you could hear their convo. Aaron was really nice and tried to accommodate us as much as he could. I did not appreciate Chico rushing us to make a decision of what spot to choose (that we shouldn’t have had to make in the first place!) We came here to relax at the spot we reserved, paid for, took off work, and drove four hours to come to. Mehmet called about ten minutes after we left claiming he had multiple other spots on his property to accommodate. I’m sure we caught them on a off time, which is really unfortunate, because I need this trip for some good nature:/ I received a full refund and another offer from Mehmet for a comped weekend.

Overall a wonderful experience.
The site was beautiful and Mehmet was a wonderful host. Always open to listen, if you can find him on this huge property. Once we arrived we were directed to our camp site and given a brief overview of the location and things to be concerned with. To get to the site, you walk down a reinforced rock path. If you are carry anything bulky or heavy it will be a challenge to get it down there. Once down the hill. You will need to cross a river. At the time we went most of it was about knee deep. You do have to pivot from one rock to another to avoid going waist deep. The water temp was in the low 50s the hole time but there are a couple of culverts you can swim in. The location we were in was not completely level so I was always sliding to my left. Additionally, the tent spot only supports a max of 4 person tent. 4 to 6 person tent will not work. Lots of bugs so bring a means to deal with them. You will cross the river a lot so bring water shoes. Issue most people will have with the site is you have to cross the river to do anything. That included going number two. So plan your movements accordingly. The only two things I would ask of the hosts to change would be to the trim the grass on and around the camp site. So that it lessens the likelihood of running into ticks. Also to consider putting a platform over that large rock in the back so that it can be used as the tent site instead. This would allow it to be larger and off the ground so less bugs get in your tent.

My fiancé and I found this gem when our usual campsite was taken. The terrain was a little difficult and the walk way to the river was steep but the VEIWS! The mountains completely surround you from all sides and the morning was so relaxing. We made tea and just sat in the sun soaking up the crisp air and enjoying each other's company. The area and the people who live there is very much in tuned with nature. It was nice being in an area where human cohabitate with the local ecosystem. Would definitely recommend. The host was so polite and their animals were a joy to see as well.

Calm and welcoming place!
We had a great time starting here! Mehmet was away for the weekend, but the other people who live on this land were very welcoming! When we arrived, Irvin and all the dogs gave us a tour of the property, which is gorgeous. The wildflowers and rushing river were so beautiful! We loved laying on the wooden swing, looking up at the hawks and the stars, wading in the cold river water, and getting spontaneous visits from the dogs and cats! Highly recommend!

Stars for days
This campsite was great and the hosts were amazing. This area is perfect whether your moderate at camping expert or beginner. We were able to arrange our dogs to go with us even though we have a larger breed and although they live on property you are so far removed from the main house that you have your privacy. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of them walking their animals but for the most part they gave us our space and let us really enjoy our surroundings. We also had an amazing creek by our campsite that provided us great cool air as well as some peaceful noise to help us sleep. Oh, and the stars… absolutely breathtaking. You can lay right on the ground and look up into an and less sky of stars with no noise or light pollution to disturb you. Just the pure ability to find yourself at this location. Highly recommend.

An absolute delight
An absolute joy! My friend and I, both teachers, celebrated Thanksgiving break with a most serene camping experience. While the nights were cold the daytime temps were perfect. You are completely secluded on a little river. We jumped in! Cold but perfect when we got out and just lay around on the rocks. Bring a hammock or relax on the bed swing. We didn’t end up leaving our spot except to get some batteries in town. We each made two trips across the river, but it isn’t a big deal. There is a rope to guide you but really the cold is what gets you. Highly recommend! Everyone was so friendly- humans, dogs, donkeys. The whole property has such positive vibes. Unfortunately the common area is closed at the moment. Definitely coming back in the summer!
