The Solis Family Farm project has been hosting community events and friends gathering for years.  We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors, so extending the invitation to campers was a great next step. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset that you may have mosquitoes down near the sites. We have natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails. We have listings ranging from yurts and bell tents, to a water tower. Check out each listing for its unique offerings. Guests love staying with us "Deja was an amazing host! We were blown away by her land and warm greetings. My family was so happy to spend time at Solis Family Farm! You can catch Deja watering the gardens or gathering fresh farm eggs to share with the Hipcampers! We harvested veggies from the garden to use in her wood fired pizza oven! The outdoor kitchen was fully stocked. We definitely overpacked. The lotus tent was set up with a King size bed and a single bed as well as a fold out futon. Plenty of room for a family of 4. (Bonus) Deja also gave us directions to a “local swim hole”.I would definitely go back!"

It was a great weekend we had. Everything was well labeled. Everyone campers and hosts was so nice with a lot of info. I will miss the chats at the communal kitchen. And heated outdoor shower experience was a nice touch. Would be ideal for large gatherings. Host are great specially when responding to all of our questions. Overall it’s great experience definitely will comeback and recommend it to friends.

Sierra Shipping Container Retreat
Great location near so many great river spots on South Yuba. Cool property with an amazing wood-fired sauna. The shared outdoor kitchen was pretty nice too. There’s a lot of rentals on the property, which i didn’t realize at the time of booking. So worth noting as weekends can be busy with lots of folks. Otherwise would stay here again.

Sierra Sol Camp Yurt in the orchard
Super gorgeous spot. We stayed in the yurt which felt like home but everything on the property is beautiful and meaningful. This was one of the coolest spots I’ve been to. Would love to go back again.
